Caped fps is tolerable, but frame dipping and stutters is not
@@Yo64130 I turned off data processing for analysis purposes in the system>network options and haven’t had a stutter or drop since, even in the busiest of cities. I’m on ps5. It does suck what’s happening with the pc port.
@@suyasuya3995 i want to play it but I am leaving my consoles so no ps5. I hated this console generation it was a bit of a waste of money that I could have invested on my PC.

The issues is they are using the RE engine which is CPU driven programming, Capcom could resolve this issue if they switch to Unreal.
Then: Watch out, dragonsplague wipes out entire cities, which ruins the game!
Now: players wipe out entire cities for better performance
Tbh this game is trash even if we overlook the performance and micro transactions this game is boring as hell but if you enjoy it then have fun its just my opinion
Performance isn't a big deal you guy's have spoiled yourself with high fps games that's a you issue.
FPS doesn't by default make a game good it isn't even super noticeable either on games like this.
If dragons dogma.2 is boring to you i couldn't imagine the games you play they must actually suck.
@@Kai-L2304 I'd play at 40 fps if it was actually 40, not jumping around 30 to 60. Uneven frame times don't make a game bad, they make it less enjoyable. Most don't wanna pay $70 for that. Better to wait or skip it entirely

The only point where it hits 40s are in the caves. Even Cyberpunk had better performance on launch

There are videos that clearly show the fps dancing between 30 and 40 during exploration. And going below 30s in cities and during combat.

People always say this stuff but I never have issues. Games running at 90 to 120fps for me on pc without dlss.
I managed to get the game locked in at 60 fps. With fps limiter off I get around 65-90 which is actually pretty terrible considering I'm running the game on an oc 4080. Going from locked in at 120-144fps on virtually every single game I've played for over a year to 60 is more painful than you would realize.
There’s a mod that lets you use frame generation for the game made my game 10x smoother and snappier
I installed the frame Gen mod and DLSS 3.6.0 from Nexus mods. My frame rate has been up over a 100, and doesn't seem to drop below 85 in towns.

Used dlss3 framgen mod for dd2 finished the whole game with 120+ fps on high and medium setting with my 3070ti 👌

I have a ps5 and I'm going to buy this game today at some point.

I ask because when I got this TV I played some games at highest graphics ( normally stuck at 30 FPS ) and I was getting the same quality visuals at 120 FPS!!

@@geminisundoneYour TV isn't a replacement for the ps5 hardware. That's like me saying I can play a locked 30fps game at 60fps because my TV has vrr or frame interpolation it's not 60fps it's making guesses where missing frames would go, that's not the same as 60fps man.

No. Easiest way to increase FPS is to go to task manager and set the game to highest priority. I won’t take any responsibility to what happens after though.
High priority is completely safe but real time will crash ur pc forcing a restart

i still dont know what to do, my pc is good enough, i and even let others check ma pc. But still even in the world i get eye issues because ma game doesnt even run 30fps, most of the time 25fps or even less, it simply playing feels like something is off and gets hard on the eyes for me. Many tell me the same "a yes your cpu is the issue" no its not, i gave these people ma stats and even they didnt knew and answer why. I'm not really mad, just sad i used 70bucks and cant even enjoy the game. i already would be happy with constant 30-40fps

My RX7800xt Nitro + having 115ish fps with fluid frame gen in VSR 3200x1800 on a 1920x1080 280hz panel. In almost ultra settings cuz shadows I always reduce to high or mid. Just not worth the fps cost.
Also my 4060 laptop 70 to 80 fps high settings with frame gen mod.

I can live with 30fps, it honestly doesn't bother me. I'd only be concerned if it was old school RuneScape frames. Though I find it funny that the crybaby side of the community always complains about the world feeling dead, and then we get a pretty lively world and they're still not happy 😂. More or less devs telling people "yeah, saw that coming" 😂. Wondering how many people accidentally killed their quest NPCs?

One of the reasons for the bad peformance its the engine they' use that prevent modding the game aperently that thing ruins the peformance quite hard
I hate seeing all these "I have a power house PC but still have latency" bs. If you people stop overclocking and downloading all these cheat engines maybe your PC would actually work properly. I haven't had issues with max setting since day one.

I pull about 57 to 60 fps and I’m running a rtx 4070, intel ultra core 9 with 16gb of ram laptop. 240 hz screen. I thought. I was doing something wrong until I heard other high end pcs getting around the same fps. 😢😢😢😢😢. I thought. I was nuts. I returned my Lenovo legion go
