- I have been really trying hard to be mindful of our finances like I told you before, it has been two weeks since our last grocery hall. I made sure to make a list which we only ended up adding like maybe five things to it which I forgot to add to the list that we needed. I waited till refrigerator was completely out of fruit and veggies make sure to go in our pantry to see what I had before I made my list up. Made my recipes for the week then put what I needed to add to what I already had. I really was super excited that we were able to stick to the list and not just beer off and buy stuff honestly I’m super super excited.

I work in retail and you guys are so awesome for doing that! Most people will just throw stuff here and there and then we have to go back around and clean it up and that takes time away from us actually being able to put the products that need put out on the shelves. Then you get customers that complain about the stuff not being on the shelves. It's like well just help us out a little bit and put stuff back where it goes and don't leave messes like that and maybe we'll have more time to do such things. You're an awesome mother that your son was like we need to clean this up. Your Children have great values!

hi Heather just wanted to bring this up since you seem conscientious of all the chemicals that go into our processed food items. one of them is packaged bread that usually uses a preservative called calcium propionate who has been linked to autism ,obesity etc i would est your homemade bread over supermarket brands
I started a diet too. One meal a day . I lost weight and I love it because can eat whatever for the one meal.

Cassava /Tavioka what we consume here in Fiji instead of Potatoes and Rice , that’s our common staple food here in Fiji

Your awsome. I did the same thing this week. Realized i needed coconut milk and gluten free Bisquick was on sale so I wrote those on my list in the store I also managed to fit in a treat for me and my husband. All in all 61$ this week. Sadly its 61$ for 15 items at the cheaper Groceries store we have fresh co.
My goal is 50$ a week.
Week one was 37.50
Week 2 two is 61.50
Totalling me so far at 99$
It does feel good. Plus this pantry challenge is helping me use up stuff and think outside the box a but more. Getting crafty in the kitchen

You seem to try to get healthier options so wanted to let you know Iodized salt is chemically treated so I would suggest pink Himalayan salt or sea salt for a healthier option for your family ❤️❤️
I really need to start shoping at walmarts in other states. The 2 local ones near me have everything locked up especially in electronics. You probably would of had to wait 10 mins to find someone to open the case to get ink. Baby food locked up condoms pregnancy tests, as well as razors too. They had the melatonin in a locked case and I guess someone broke it and they still put it in that location but its not locked

I think you well really like shopping less frequently. I do spend less on average per week when I do shop less frequently. I am only a one person household and I grocery shop every 3 weeks. I use WalMart delivery because I am disabled and don't drive. Although I have wonderful neighbors who previously would shop for me every week, now that grocery delivery is so readily available it just makes sense for me to subscribe to a service. It's really been helpful in keeping my budget intact because I see the total accumulate in my cart online so I know if I'm getting close to my budget and if I need to adjust any items. I also belong to Sam's and I saw a video you did about going to Sam's for the first time. I think with some of the items that you use for your family you were really appreciate shopping at Sam's Club. Costco is good too but they have a lot more prepared foods which I think can get real tricky because although it's convenient and tasty it can get pretty expensive especially if you're feeding a large family like yours. Some things are not less expensive at the club stores. Milk in my area is a dollar a gallon more at the club store than it is at Walmart. but things like butter in a four pack are more affordable unless you catch a loss later sale at a local grocery store. I'm not sure if you have time to look at grocery ads to follow loss leaders or not but if you do this time of year is a good time to watch because they have a lot of baking supplies on sale because of the holidays and it's a nice time to really stock up. Things like bread and butter freeze well and so if you can catch a good sale or find a discount bakery outlet, you can really stock up on bread and other items like bagels or English muffins if you eat those kinds of things and just put them in the freezer and they keep. I really have been enjoying watching your family's videos. Thank you so much for sharing your lives with us.

I thought he was talkin about a CD or DVD tower. Not a binder. With the binder he had to take his CDs out of the case instead of with the tower he could just put that in and organize them
