As an Israeli Jew I must say that %99.9 of the Israeli population only want peace and to live peacefully with all of our 'neighbors'. Israel never started this war. Israel never started any war, and I find it very odd that we are always in the center of everything. How such a small tiny country can always be the topic of everything, day after day, month after month. It's just crazy.

As an Israeli Jew, I must say that NEVER ever in our history, we created an Empire into invading lands of others, oppressing them and occupying their homelands.
Our ideology, our historical DNA has always been all about offering peace and trade cooperation and prosperity to our neighbors in the Middle East.

I used to be a progressive, but when progressives started supporting Palestine after the Palestinians voted in Hamas and Hamas committed that atrocity, and inadvertently or deliberately support Islamists, I felt disgusted to even be associated with progressivism. Mosab makes clear points that Cenk doesn’t address and honestly comes across as either ignorant and supportive of islamism.
It made more sense when the PLO (communists) were pushing for Arab nationalism-though we all know the last time nationalism and socialism combined. Hint: NAtionalSocialIS. But now the progressives are openly supporting one of the most conservative, regressive regimes on this planet.

How can you tell millions of people what to call themselves? And, what who they are has to do with the topic?
That's like saying Irish and English have no culture because they are both European. Is Turkey or Turkish an ethnicity because it is less than 200 years old?
Just because they call themselve palestinian, it doesn't mean they are, Palestine is not a state, they never wanted indepence, and a state. Ireland, and England are countires, so yes they are european.
@JeannieSoko Lebanon was never a historical state eithier and was only created after 1920s. Palestinians have expressed nationalism and a desire for a state for decades. It is irrelevant how long something existed, people have a right to create and form their own identities.
Expression, and desire are irrelevant too since they never wanted indepence, and they did not accept any agreement with their neighbors. They are just putting false narratives, and a form to put a blame on Israel, plus their ideology says a lot in who they are. No muslim should be friends and allied with non muslims, they should hate them with their heart, and betray them, it is according to the Quran and their religious law in sharia.

Mosab Hassan Yousef is an honest man for telling the truth. Arabs migrated to the land of Judea when Muslims, under the rule of Saladin, conquered the Jewish land. Now they think they own it. Fair enough, but now the Jews have taken it back, just like the Muslims did in history. So what's the problem here? Why are 'Palestinians' crying over it? Just admit that you lost what you originally stole from the jews.
And the strangest bit is that they call it an occupation but actually a lot of Jews migrated from various Arab countries including the "Palestine" to the current day Israel (I don't know the exact numbers but it's at least 20-30%). So it is more like a resettlement of Arab Jews within the continenet, with also the Jewish refugees from the post Holocaust times from Europe. They came together and made a country in one corner of the middle east.
Even Pakistan was made like this- when Muslims from different parts of the Indian subcontinent migrated to one part and made a country there.
