Sweet. Now I listen to Eighties Kid when I'm Shaping. Thank You. BTW. try a fresh Razor blade for every cut line.

Andrew! Your video is so great I can't wait to glass my log with your help! Also, I think with the tape trick you can use paper under the first round of masking tape instead of wasting lots of tape on the extra bits you want to keep from dripping over. Maybe you've tried that and my comment isn't helpful but I thought you might like it! (:

Hey Andrew! Thanks so much for the series. I am also a cold water surfer.. on the other coast. We don’t get as cold as you guys but definitely had my mustache frozen this winter.. but the waves are the best then, and we wait for it to be small enough.. instead of big enough lol.. I understand you don’t have time to reply to everyone, so if this goes unanswered, no worries… but can you tell me the grit you used to smooth out the cut laps with the triangle sander and by hand? All the best from the PNW.

Bro you can do it all outside you can 100% shape outside but glassing is the only thing you want to do inside! And you can throw down some plastic and be very careful and you can do it in a pretty small space

Hey love the video, I have a couple of questions if I may. The cloth I ordered came unlabelled which is the easiest way to tell which is the 4oz and which is the 6oz?
How do you print your logos?

Andrew you have inspired me to make my first surfboard! I see you use a detail sander to sand the cut lap. Do you recommend it is worth purchasing or can it be done by hand or with an orbital sander?

Hey Andrew, begginer question: I have touched the board with my hands after lamination so I guess it s full of oil, is there any way to remove it (acetone?) before hit coating? Thanks, keep up the great job 👏

A better squeegee would help you smooth out the resin better to get rid of the blotches. Those autobody ones are just to rigid.
Where are you located? Canada?. I am just west of calgary and I want to build my first board.
