The lack of punch or "bass" in the COD series is incredible. Wow, truly shit. Also, props to Rainbow Six Vegas for actually having the mag visually empty. Attention to detail is KEY.
Survarium definitely has the best sounds for firing and for reloads. Most seem to completely miss the fact that the magazine is plastic, and a lot of what it's making contact with is plastic. So it's more of a hollow sound. It's tough to describe but it's distinctive enough.

All guns in KF2 have excellent animations.
Play it with a max level SWAT perk and it essentially becomes a LMG (it gets a 100 round capacity).

Killing Floor 2 (right after Survarium in the video) sounds about the same for the reload.
Only Rainbow Six Vegas did it right with actual transparent emptying magazines so, lazy game designers are lazy in most games.
