i love how all of the games portray as the bolt moving as it’s being fired when in real life the bolt only chambers a round on the first cartridge and doesn’t keep cycling as it’s being fired
I absolutely love the COD ones and the CSS, CSCZ and CS 1.6 ones, something about them make them so satisfying.

The first FPS game I played when I was growing up was Combat Arms and I remember picking up the AUG A1 and going on a killstreak with it. This will forever be one of my favorite guns in all of video game history.

in real life the aug has moderate recoil about the same as an ak74, but in games you shoot it for a second and your spine is broken

Backtoast bf4 has a realistic animation, bf4, bf3, bfhardline and siege had the most realistic sound
I respect all the other portrayals in different games though, but my one-and-only best AUG in-game sound + motion is the one from 4:46.

I actually like the look of the steyr augs wiith smaller charging handles, the ones with big charging handles sticking out just look weird.
This is my favorite gun looks so freaking awesome
Medal of Honor: Warfighter is the best out of all of these clips in terms of both animation and sound. Although I'm going to say the AUG from Modern Warfare 2019 comes second best next to it though this video was made before that game was released.
Other two versions of the AUG that I would mention that is the most nostalgic to me are the ones from Black ops 1 and Battlefield 3.

In my opinion, the real Steyr AUG has the best sound for the ear.
Watching these slow-mo comparison add 2X speed just sounds weird, like your ears have finally succumb to the it’s injuries of hearing guns without protective gear.
What about the M14 next,lots of games contain this weapon,and It's very well known :D
AUG has also SMG like AUG A3 Para because it use 9×19mm Parabellum.

CS:GO: Has bolt release, doesn't use it. That fire mode selector seems to be on semi.
RS Siege: That QD mount on the body most definitely cannot even be placed there if you wanted.
Medal of Honor: Warfighter: Has bolt release, doesn't use it. The iron sights on the A1 styled optics are in reality quite chubby and in fact, offset slightly to the side, not centered.
Alliance of Valiant Arms: Reciprocating charging handle. With that, rocking the charging handle before releasing the mag makes even less sense that it normally would. The weapon is oddly thin. Fire selector on semi. Optics sights don't have a white circle, nor red dot.
CS:Source: That charging handle is levitating off the gun.
Warface: Has bolt release, doesn't use it, reciprocating charging handle.
Project I.G.I.: Weapon's thin, the A1 optics has a single rear iron sight? The optic sight doesn't look like that.
Terrorist Takedown 2: US Navy: Reciprocating charging handle. Player's right thumb is sunk into the weapon. Missing fire selector??
CoD: MW2: Reciprocating charging handle. That peg on a side is a take down pin, it 'really' should not be protruding out. And when it does protrude, it does to the other side.

I think it´s because most characters don´t have military training.
This is how a base 40 stability vanilla gun looks like in Payday 2. Meanwhile at 80 and above stability gun shoots like a cod gun.
