Excellent! First video I watched, and I fixed my wife's Dyson in 3 minutes. All is well, I can resume my nap.

Glad it helped! zzzzz!!!!!!! :)
Thank you, knowing where that red clip is saved me a lot of money.
Glad it Helped
Ah, how could I have known… a small toy traffic cone just about brought me to my knees…. Thank you for the video!
Yepp those little kid toys are just the perfect size to ruin everything...
Thank you so much!!!! The rigid portion of the tube was blocked completely by something wedged in there. Which probably happened the first time I used it because the handheld attachments have not worked me basically since then. Until now, after watching your video I fixed it up in 2 minutes. I vacuumed my couch and it looks brand new again! Thanks for the super helpful video!!!
Thanks I appreciate it. Please hit the like button if you didn't already! I'm glad it helped. I try and make my videos useful. Thanks again!
I had this issue, but there was no clog anywhere. I was suctioning a vacuum seal bag when it happened. Any ideas?
Currently experiencing the same issue. Did you find a way to fix it?
Ive checked mine completely (no clogs) and even taken it almost completely apart and cleaned it oit and i still have no suction at the hose
Take a look at the dark gray solid tube that goes inside the flexible tubing. That is where most of my obstruction was. Fixed it quick using a dowel rod and pushing through. I had a guitar pick and some small pieces of drywall in there from when we did some remodeling. Poked a dowel rod in and everything came out. Works like new.
I dud everything thing u said. I even did the gray tube and nothing is in there. And I still have no suction in my wand.😢
@@loraljohnson I cleaned out my machine completely. I own a few of these and this isn’t a clog there’s just no suction. I’ve detached and fixed anything that needed fixing. Even with a clog there’s still a little built of suction but in this case nothing. I
@@jerrisspooner7081 I felt the same, but after looking more into the base of the unit, and using needle nose pliers, I was able to pull out my clog and it works like new again. Mine was NOT as visible as this video shows.
Same
Thanks. Very helpful
Glad it helped!
Brilliant thanks. I can never work out how to dismantle Dysons workout some guidance.
Glad it helped and thanks for the thanks!!!
Great video thanks for posting. I had trouble getting the hose off but we did it. I think the switch mustn't be working because everything is clean no blockages and still there is a suction going through the hose and it seems to be a common problem. Going to get it fixed and I will report back.
Thank you so much! Problem solved!!
Hurrah! You just saved me 300 smackers!
Thank goodness... It's usually just a clog and I'd guess 30-50% of the people think it's destroyed and just toss them.
Very helpful. Didn’t know about that red button
Glad it helped... Thanks for taking the time to post!
Your awesome thank you so much
Appreciate the comment and hope it did the trick!
I noticed the red button, but didn't move it. Hope I can find the problem with suction now. I love this vacuum when it works!
it is a nice vacuum when it's working. I love mine
I think it might be the switch going to get mine looked at.
This is a fairly old video so I'm hoping you still check the comments. I have the exact opposite problem. There's suction in the hose but not on the bottom. The brush isn't spinning. I just took everything apart and cleaned it a few days ago so it's not bc of clogging. Also, when i took the bottom part off & checked the opening, there's no suction there, either. I'd appreciate any help you may be able to offer!
Sounds like possibly a broken belt? I Would say a clog or a belt. If the beater bar is not spinning it sounds like a belt
Check the pst HEPA filter in the ball (one side has a removable cover). The filter is washable (recommended every 2-3 months). I forget to clean it when I clean the filter in the center of the canister.
Worst Hoover iv ever had , was rubbish, when i brought it ,dosnt even suck a feather of floor ,sucks adh up but leaves everything els ,no clogs ,still has very little suction
Well something is having an issue. You should have someone else take a look. Sometimes new eyes looking at a project can see things we overlook. I know I miss things at times and some looks and says hey it's right here and I wonder.... How the heck did I not see that???? Well hopefully you get it figured out or get a new vac... Sorry your having issues
These vacuums are too complicated and prone to problems
too complicated? They may be more prone to problems. Complicated not so sure about
@You can Fix It!!!! I just can't see a woman being comfortable with these things. Too heavy, down on the knees to unscrew the bottom filter. To be turned upside down and on its side. Locating the red plastic ring the holds the head in place. Checking for blockages. The Dyson ball wheelbarrow wasn't complicated just stupid.
@@kentlandzintoba Yeah was suppose to just get people with a new design. I'm sure woman will have no issue with any of this. The job was nothing a man, woman, or teenage child couldn't handle. Heck maybe even a preteen could do it... I have faith in them
It’s not a great vacuum
My vacuum rocks!
Doesn’t work
what didn't work? You may have a different issue, but this is the first check
Hate dyson so much
