** I used all the products today how Jaclyn demoed them on her IGTV video. I typically wouldn’t use 3 different powders daily personally, but everyone is different & can mix/match powders as they see fit. Just wanted to demo them all today, but yes it’s a lot of powder in one video 😂

Do you feel like any of the powders were blurring and if so, which one would you recommend? I’m always looking for a non drying blurring powder to set my face. I have normal skin but I’m on my 40s so heavy drying powders don’t look great on me. Thank you for getting this up so quickly!!!
@@lilnikki3233 the most blurring would be the 4 pan palette imo. I used too much but it definitely blurred the undereye❤️

Yes, I agree and I Love jaclyn. I understand wanting to work with friends and family after what she has been through, but being a brand owner this is where its important to have representation within your company. Having Black, latina, East Indian, asian employees to try things out on and for input

They say people dont start seeing real profits from their own business for 3-5yrs, so we'll see. But for real, lets be very honest. "Friends and family" I could call up 5 friends easily that range dark-deep, and im fair. Theres no excuse.
She could literally bring subscribers to her office to test on , she could send powders out to ppl like Nyma Tang, she can just ask... shes a multi-millionare its not like she dont have resources to get ahold of ppl. If it mattered she woulda made it happen, like the perfectionist she is.
Covid aint an excuse either, bcuz these powders - trademarks - customizing-production etc these had to have been happening more than a year ago. Its just pathetic to not get it right, she cant just make makeup for herself. I wont support it. And im a fan, but its not right
I feel like it’s excuses that a lot of brands make.. “these are for brightening” so the shades don’t need to run deep.... but it’s the same thing as someone of your skintone buying a powder that is 5 shades lighter than you. It’s still going to lighten and ash you up because of the lighter pigments. The orange shades are way too blushy as well ... I don’t know why these brands make these orange shades for deeper skin. It will literally show up like orange blush under the eye. They always push Orange shades as if that will cover all brown skin tones. Lol. Just throw in some warm deep tan-deep brown brown and it will work... not a straight orange and bright peach . That is just so weird because these are going to set makeup so the pigment will be obvious. Using correctors under makeup work well but orange powders? Who do they test these on?

Unfortunately just looking at the deep palette, it doesn’t look like it’ll do much for my skin complexion. I will however do a review on this because I’d love to know for myself and those close to my complexion🤎
I feel like Jaclyn does her make up I a very old school way, like 2015 techniques. Nowadays we are much more careful with were we apply powders so we don't have to load on setting spray at the end and still look skin like. I can't wait to see you use the powders going forward but in your own way.

I think the translucent setting powder is genius for setting dewy finish foundations! Finally someone came out with a setting powder that won’t change the finish of a dewy foundation!As far as the white cast goes from other translucent powders I’ve used, it usually disappears with setting spray so hopefully the same with this. When it comes to the palette I wish they were coming out as singles or MAYBE doubles because I don’t see how you would need four shades but the formula does look like something to get excited about as well as the under-eye primer. For the baking powder I NEED to know how it works for oily skin before I were to purchase it.

That deeper palette or is not deep enough and very orange. The loose powder is definitely nowhere near deep enough. In general Jaclyns offerings for darker skin have not been great in my opinion. She needs to do better in this regard in her future launches

This is a pretty look on you! As a woman with mature dry skin I would never use that many powders, nor do I think they all are needed. As you said, unless you are going somewhere you need to "glam it up" all are not needed on a daily basis! Thank you for sharing this with us today!!
I’m my opinion these powders don’t run deep enough, especially the “translucent” powder. If that gives you a white cast and lightens your foundation it definitely won’t work for people like me with a deeper skin tone.

Love a surprise video. I am not sure if I am entirely sold on Jaclyn products, just because of her past releases. And you are right, this new line does not run deep enough for deeper skin tones. The last pressed under eye brighting powder looked more like color correction pallet. I know your skin is fair to naturally, but the “translucent pressed” did lighten up your foundation significantly. I know it’s a first impression, But I’m not a fan of Jaclyn products.You know I love you and watching your videos. Thanks for the video😘

Girl every time I see you post I’m like yep let me see what she has today lol. That deep shade definitely isn’t deep enough even if it’s for brightening. Having done makeup on various shades of beautiful humans it’s obvious she needed one more for darker complexions. Anywho your overall was flawless and beautiful!

@BabsBeauty I truly value your opinion and we are no where near the same skin tone! As a black woman I can definitely tell you those colors are not dark enough at all for my heavily melanated ladies. I do think your makeup came out beautiful but that translucent color definitely lighted your foundation along with the loose power, but you make it work! Keep up the great work Babs! I think your base ended up great. Your under eyes do look really good and no discoloration. I’m very fair and most “brighteners” and too yellow. So very excited by the looks of the lightest pallet

I don’t have a need for a primer since I don’t crease much under the eye and I don’t have fillers. You did an amazing job on this review. 💕 I'm new to your channel, can I ask what shade did you use for the bake and brighten under eye power??
In her video she actually said she picked up a small amount on her sponge and dabbed off any access on the back of her hand. Then she gently went in under the eyes
Yes after she said you may need to really press in to get off the top layer so you can get to the creaminess of the powder which is what I did. I tried again yesterday with less product and it worked well either way so its really up to what each person personally prefers.
Plus I find most powders that say there translucent make the skin so much lighter

So happy to have watched your review on Jaclyn's new products. I'm really curious as to how the undereye primer will work for us very mature skin gals. It's either going to smooth things out and get rid of the crepiness or will make concealer settle in the fine lines. I'm going to try it and am hoping for the former! I have yet to find the perfect powder to use under my eyes, if I should even use one. They've all made my undereye area drier and accentuated the fine lines. I'm always game to try new things though. You never know when you'll stumble upon your Holy Grail. I must chime in with another subscriber... It's time to see the furbabies! 💕 It's been a long time.

I don't use powders at all. I feel a lot of people are using more cream products these days. This feels a little out dated to me. But each to their own. 🌻

How does your makeup last through the day? Especially in summer??? But yes I agree you don’t need all these powders! And doesn’t she know that baking is on the way out? Where are we going that we need to bake? I like to set my face if it’s a foundation that has a glow to it, concealer as well but you can use a loose powder to set everywhere. You don’t need 4 different kinds!!! Seems like a cash grab.
I love the brightening palette I will be getting that one .. hope her other items as well are back in stock as want them bronzer blush duo.
I was only really interested in the undereye primer and the translucent powder. However, it is quite light and I don't want it to make me look like a 👻 since I am kinda light overall.

You’re one of the biggest Jaclyn stans though so I feel you’re a bit biased! Babs you look good but you like pretty ghostly, there is quite a bit of a white cast and I would guess a flash test might have you looking like Flashback Mary
@@DebsDemurrer I make it no secret that I am a fan . However it's funny how alot of comments said the same thing as I did. Yet you comment under mine. If I didn't like it I don't comment. Beyond that I am hesitant on buying this and haven't yet cause I am waiting for reviews. If I was all hype I would just say I have it love it and move on . That's honorable of Jaclyn since u didn't give her a raving review. U were just being honest. I mean u even had a product of hers in your fails and she still sent you her collection. BADASS....KEEP DOING U BOO BOO. I don't know but maybe that translucent powder would melt with setting spray so it wouldn't lighten up once sprayed but MAYBE NOT.

I have been eyeing these powders! I am probably only gonna grab the palette! Someone else said it, but I know she used to love the KVD powders, and so did I, so I think I’ll like those! I do feel like the translucent did lighten your face tho. But over all I think on camera your skin looks bomb! Super smooth looking!
