When you’re white and spraying on fake tan all your life, you don’t know what it’s like to have a natural tan skin like Rihanna or myself. Live in that body to understand that deep shades for fake tan, and natural warm skin tone aren’t the same.
i dont understand the 4 shade concept. i know jaclyn likes to mix all the colours for application but that doesn’t mean everyone gravitates towards that. she could have made them singles that you can purchase together as a set for a bulk discount or something?

I love love that setting powder 4 pan pallette.I use it for many different ways to do my makeup. I am Hispanic and the medium tan one was perfect for me.I use it to set and the orange one for blush and the tan one for light bronzer natural look. I brighten under the eye and I use it all over to set my face. It’s beautiful and really useful for me.
I think she made so many choices to fit different needs and that’s good It’s not a collection that you will need all of the products But every one can find what they need in that one collection Do you get what I mean ! Very spot on Jaclyn hill imitation 😜
Typically I like to set my eye with a translucent powder, or a powder foundation. Then I’ll dust a little bit of brightener over top of that after I’ve done my blush and bronzer. I think I’m gonna pick up the loose brightening powder and the compact. I think I’ll get the best use outta them.
I agree each powder should be in separate components & yes definitely need darker shades. I do like how you use the darker shade in the palette to bronze. If these palettes were longer not wide the pans could’ve been bigger
I wish she would bring these to Ulta that way. I’m still on the fence but at least if it was at Ulta I could return it to the store and get a different shade or my money back.

I love the new lipsticks highlithers and bronzers Duo from Jaclyn cosmetics,, but I think this new collection it's kinda weird' I don't think we need this products, at least in my opinion.. maybe the prep cream concealer but nothing else...!! Other than that you look sooo pretty!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
The only products I couldn't get was the under eye primer which I will be getting soon. But I did get the powders. I love the Becca under eye primer so I'm gonna need a replacement. I'm still trying to figure out how to use the loose powder and it not look cakey

I had an amazing product a few years ago fron Smashbox. I have pretty dark circles on deep set eyes. Their eyeshadow primer and the under eye primer were BOMB! The hydrating primer too! Those primers change my life, I swear by (oh and the concelear too). Before that I was doing everything wrong with my “oily” skin. But guess what... the discontinued the products 🥲🙄
The thing for me is... I like Jaclyn' s aesthetic from the old morphe palletes... to the first highlighters to her new stuff... I love the white and reflective look!! I live in Africa... we don't get many opportunities to buy from the USA or UK.. and also... in Africa make up is not the first thing you spend money on So I only buy 2 expensive products every year... buying from jaclyn I KNOW the vibe and design will always look sleek and vibrant... and comparing quality available here Jaclyn is not bad
I feel like Jaclyn was away from the beauty community for 4 years. Then she came back with product, but that time gone a lot of changes happened. Diversity in company employees, shade range, shade UNDERTONE ( I think that’s what’s wrong with this and the bronzer duo). And then the way of doing makeup now, even if your a full coverage girl or sheer coverage girl, is skin like and that just isn’t the way she does her own makeup. She’s still doing the “filtered finish” that even huda beauty left. No shade, I’m just a consumer

These are my thoughts about this collection: the setting powders remind me of the Fenty Pro Filt'r. Once I use up my Fenty Banana powder, I will purchase Jaclyn's banana powder. The palette reminds me of Mario's collection at Sephora. If her next release is foundation, then this collection makes sense to me. The last thing we need is another palette from Jaclyn. Give that another year and then release a palette. The lack of range in colors speaks volumes and is painful to see. I thought Fenty set the bar that should be the standard. Yet, we see releases like these over and over again. Such a let down. I will try the eye primer. I have no need for the palette at all and the powder can wait.
Shes done “bullet lipsticks” , and “eyeshadow palettes”…that was confusing….I think maybe there’s 4 shades to create ur own perfect shade….maybe one shade isn’t for everyone in the palette….unless u want to opt for the loose powders. I don’t think they were meant to be used all at once.

I am super excited for this collection!! I know exactly how I would use these! I absolutely love every product Jaclyn releases! I feel like Maryam isn't that great at makeup and thats why I don't agree with her opinion, she cleaned her bronzer up with the pressed powder instead of using the loose powders to bake like they were intended for she didn't even use that one really.....
Would I even dream of shipping anything from this collection internationally? No, definitely not. BUT I'm ALWAYS here for Maryam's videos! 💕 I feel like Jaclyn created this collection based on how she likes to do her makeup which involved A LOT of powder, and then a lot of setting spray or face oil dabbed over top. Which I'm sure is beautiful on her, but I think it's not for everyone. And especially at a time when cream products and lighter coverage bases are the direction things are moving in... This just seems like it's geared to certain very specific looks and styles, not super versatile. 🤷 Also, although I have zero experience with makeup for richer skintones, this collection again seems like it doesn't have a lot of options. I certainly hope she gets the hint that people need more of a shade range before she even attempts to release concealer or foundation. Just my take though. Happy Sunday, babe! ☺️☺️☺️

Her highlight palettes are great for dark skin( i am Nw48 in Mac), I use it in my kit Alot. Her glow powders are great too.
