- 8th étape of the Camino Francés from Logroño to Nájera. ☀️
All étapes/videos to Santiago de Compostela are going to be uploaded over the next days and weeks.
After many journeys on the Camino de Santiago in the past ten years, this time the focus lies on the video project. Thus not a lot of stopping during the étapes (some breaks and encounters are cut out).
COVID-19: Filmed in the summer of 2020 when Spain and the camino including most albergues were open again for a few weeks after the first lockdown. Masks in all albergues, bars/restaurants and when crossing cities. There will likely never again be as few people on the camino as in summer of 2020.

At Logrño I was so in pain in my knee and feet that I had to stop walking. I went to a hospital (very well treated) and the doctor said to me to avoid walking for two days. Then this étape I made by bus. This video was very good for me to see what I couldn't see walking.
I was stung by 3 wasps on this route, on the ear, cheek and hand^^ thanks again for this video...

@@CaminoTimeLapse Your non narrative approach allows a person to just absorb the beauty and the distance covered each day without interruption. I have walked the Camino twice and this just inspires me to want to get back and enjoy what typically can't be explained to someone who has never done this wonderful, yet hard journey.
