GREAT presentation…Bragg really hung Col Lamb and General Whiting out to dry. With Hokes veteran troops there may have been a different out come possibly…I have never heard great things about Bragg in talking to historical people…..

Can I ask you please? If there was no landing by troops December 24-26 1864 at Ft. Fisher, can you tell me how my Great Great Uncle Caleb managed to die Christmas 1864? I'd just like to know

Hi! Union troops did land during the first attack in December, but the assault was then called off, so there were casualties. Perhaps that should have been made more clear. What unit was Caleb in?
