  • Ohio State took a halftime lead and made it disappear. It squandered countless opportunities on offense and failed to stop the Wolverines offense. No. 3 Michigan blew the game open in the fourth quarter and delivered their second straight double-digit win over Ohio State in the rivalry game.
Where does Ohio State go from here?
Lettermen Row was on site in the Horseshoe to make sense of the Buckeyes loss to Michigan. Spencer Holbrook, Tim May and Andy Backstrom are breaking down how the Buckeyes weren't able to score in the second half and had a hard time containing the Wolverines offense. #OhioStateFootball #OhioState #CFBNews

I'm a Michigan fan. I remember in the 80's and 90's Michigan winning the Game most years. That changed and Ohio State has been the dominant team. Michigan will start dominating Ohio State for a while eventually, I don't know if this is the start of that, but eventually sometime after that Ohio State will dominate again. It's a cycle that I've seen happen time and time again, not just in sports but with companies and ever trends. Just like the saying "What was old is new again."
Like I said, I'm a Michigan fan, but I truly respect Ohio State football and their fans. I always have and always will, even though some fans on both sides can't seem to do that for the other team.

I am a OSU fan and was completely disgusted with the way the team quit . This ALL goes back to coaching and lack of preparation. I know that Y'all will represent the Big 10 well in the playoffs. Listening to these 3 talk about how Ohio State was a better team on paper, better recruiting, more NFL calibre players, blah, blah, blah. For the better team, you got dominated in every phase of the game. 5 big play touch downs out of 6, two excellent pass defences by Michigan in the end zone, two interceptions by an inferior defense, according to the talking heads, by a much better QB, also per the talking heads, a head butt personal foul and how many pass interference calls, at least 2, and a 4th quarter rout where Michigan scored 21 unanswered points. It was the biggest lopsided score by Michigan over Ohio State at home in how long, decades? Michigan scored more points in 3 of 4 quarters of football and Ohio State had 3 second half points. Clearly, you misjudged your opponent again and leaves you wondering if you have the right coach. I know, it's only football, but it sure feels good to me, for my team, to beat your team. Maybe beat is not the right word, you were crushed at home by TTUN, oh, oh, wait, I'm sorry, not TTUN, by The University of Michigan Wolverines. Go Blue!

I don’t mean this in a trollish or malicious fashion-but Ohio State has one of the most spoiled fan bases over the past 20 years. And why not? They’ve basically known nothing but winning. And not just against Michigan, either. With some notable, and very rare, exceptions, they’ve steamrolled the Big 10. Conversely, I’m a Michigan fan who attended just about every single home game in Ann Arbor from 2001 to 2019. I saw it all. The good, the bad, and the ugly. And there was a LOT of ugly from 2008 to 2014. They say losing builds character, though, so I’ve always told my OSU fan friends that I’ve gotta have the most goddamn character of anyone. 🤣 But hey, OSU fans-maybe this is what your fanbase needed. Just a slice of humble pie. It’s not like Ohio State is NEARLY in the state that Michigan football was in under RichRod & Hoke. Chins up. You have a great team. And hey, who knows: we may meet again in the playoffs if the universe wills it. Cheers.

From what i had seen this year i felt Michigan was the better team and had a much better chance to win than they were given. Ohio state has better players via superior recruiting, but Michigan has MUCH better coaching. If Harbaugh could only recruit like Coach Day, Michigan could be on the level with Georgia, great players to go with great coaching. It’s unacceptable then on the defense side, Jim doesn’t make one single adjustment on the fence just runs one play. I can do that for $2 million, then Ryan day seems to get antsy and totally calls dumb plays Why didn’t hayden play more? I am not an Ohio St. fan. In my opinion, the shock should be realized to have begun with faulty recruiting data and perception. Ohio St., in fact, DOES NOT have the “best” players. Recruiting “data” is finally opinion based. That “data” does not measure character, toughness and “competitive greatness” (one of the most important prerequisites to success taught by the great coach and teacher from my Alma Mater). Where does Ohio St. go from here? Get a coach that can actually assess these in tangibles.

They went after the Cincinnati db coach. Got him and he was supposed to be top notch, we can’t tell…

Hire a Big 12 Coach get Big 12 Results. That's not making fun of OSU as a Michigan fan. You have to win the trenches. Once Corum wasn't playing why didn't he go to a 2 high and let players play. Much respect, but defensive game plan was silly once #2 was out of the game.

Why didn’t Ryan go get an NFL guy for D coordinater, or an SEC guy. Jim Knowles defense doesn’t work against big time teams…. Bad hire
