I personally witnessed Dana white lose 400 grand when I was at the red rock with Taylor Lewan and fight his way back to zero in like four hours. It was insane. Also might I say I was the only person he didn’t know in a room of like I don’t know 40 people, and he realized it almost immediately walked over and introduced himself to me and shook my hand. It was humbling.
Yeah I watch Nelk too.

I lost 13k in 2 days my first time in Vegas 2019 visiting with my fiance. To this day I don’t think I’ve ever been in such a dark and depressing state from that experience shit fucked with me so hard, and I’m still bouncing back from that situation 5 years later
Did u go with a lot of your savings ? That’s brutal how did you get that low ? Risking it all or you were going to the atm/ credit line after ?
Well you're just dumb... sorry.
5 years and still trying to bounce back ? That’s less than $ 10 / day . How can that be a big deal .
@michaelblankenau6598 technically It can take a year or 2 to save up a clear 13k after taxes and whatever bills you have etc...food, rent or mortgage. I think hes referring to the mental strain of dropping a couple of working years savings in 2 nights. But yeah it's an odd thing to do with your fiance there with you haha
After hearing the story of Dana calling the GM at Rio a pussy, something tells me the reason Dana got kicked out of other casinos is not bc he is a winning player.
You think a casino is going to kick a guy who is gambling millions of dollars because he called someone a pussy?
This is not a person gambling $200. He could call anybody there whatever he wants as long as he's gambling high stakes and losing
I wrote this comment before even watching the video. He called the gm a pussy and got his credit line doubled which proves my point
JFC what kind of soulless, friendless loser has never gotten drunk before and done something they regretted? He clearly stated he did something dumb while inebriated and never made that mistake again. You're the exact type of dork he's talking about that never accomplishes anything and spends all their time complaining about everyone else.
@@kamzokthese people have no idea how casinos/books work. They LOVE high rollers. If your “pick guy” can bet $10k on DK or FD, he doesn’t have an edge😭
@@kamzok Very true. Dana claims he doesn't card count. They may actually make small concessions to him just to get him to stay there gambling if anything.
Theres a reason casinos give you free drinks lol
Oh yeah. Alcohol is a HUGE part of how they make their money. That's something that's well known.
Yall obviously havnt ever been to a casino because only certain ones give free drinks in high roller rooms and for certain situations or you have to have reached a certain level or tier membership because 95% of casinos charge 95% of people inflated prices for drinks just like everywhere else

lets face it gambling is a dead end. I lived it, I loved it and now I am trying to find a way out. The long term game always ends in loss
Dana is promoting it like he's promoting Vegas because he has stakes in his business and casino shares.
The fertittas are the children of a gaming empire lol ofc Dana can do whatever he wants, and ofc he’s gonna say he loves casinos

Must be nice to lose 3 million dollars and not notice it!
Work harder butterball. You had the chance. We all do. Some just don't take the opportunities, just cry about others that did.
You can’t help but like this guy, straight talking no bullshit.
-3 million for Dana is same as -300 for who owns $50000
Tell me you're broke without telling me you're broke. 3 million dollars is 3 million fuckin dollars. 300 dollars doesn't even pay for bills, 3 million dollars buys you a house. Worst comparison.
Nah that isn’t how it works
@@gravestomper4359True, but when you're rich you just don't care about losing money the extreme amounts as much. In terms of percentage it's similar to someone who is broke and only loses 300. For example my brother is rich. He spent 120 thousand in one day for a very extravagant private flight back from Denmark, and it didn't bother him one bit because he's insanely rich, so in theory I get his point. I get your point though too, obviously it's still much different feeling than say 300 which is nothing at all. Even if you're a billionaire losing 10 million is still 10 million, which is an extreme amount of money. It's just not a huge deal for that person.
This is a very important point. I always hate the "$500,000 to you is like $5 to Elon Musk!" midwit takes. Dana White's most recent net worth estimate was $500 million. Losing 0.6% of your net worth in one night is not sustainable. Most of his net worth is equity in UFC anyway, so $3 million is a much higher percentage of his cash on hand. I'm not saying the loss was painful to him, but if he makes a habit of it he could get seriously hurt. @@gravestomper4359
@@billj4525 being upset over losing 300 dollars is a far stretch from losing 3 million dollars. 300 dollars isn't life changing money, 3 million dollars is.

Dont worry its a dump now
Dr Dre taught us a long time ago that you never make a business decision if you've had a sip of alcohol. Playing blackjack for me is a business decision. Do the math.
Dana White has the balls to fight and deal with the problem every day. Amazing.
Why is everyone talking about fighters? Are there any poor champions? Fighters know what they are getting into and Dana is a person, not a company. His money is seperate from the UFC. If he used UFC money to gamble that is embezzlement and he'd be in jail so he lost his money.
Regarding fighting for the UFC: “It’s an opportunity not a career.” - Dana White.
There have been plenty of poor champions over the course of Dana's reign. The point of contention is how much Dana and the Fertitta's compensated themselves compared to the fighters actually putting their bodies on the line. The trio who ran the UFC almost bankrupted it because they were taking so much money out of the company for themselves (this is all public record due to recent lawsuits that the UFC had to settle).

I just paused it and watched the movie, he aint lying, movie was pretty good
Dana is worth approx. 500 Million. His worst beat story is 3 million. This would be the equivalent of making $100k a year and losing $600. Yet so many people lose so much more earning so much less…
His net worth is 500 million, not his salary.
@@colejames3915 Good point. I’d imagine most people on $100k actually have net worths lower than that anyways 🤣

Anyone playing against the house (blackjack, roulette, etc) is bound to lose.
That's not just a gambler, that's an addiction.
Real players go for Hold 'em, for example, because you're not playing the house, you're playing other players - house gets it's piece from rakes either way
You can beat the house in blackjack if you count cards. That's why it's not allowed.

Went to Vegas in 2001 to catch up with friends. Spent the first night playing slots and came out $50 up. But I did learn a big lesson that night. If you look like your playing and the free drinks keep a coming (minus a tip etc).
By day three we learned we could order cocktails instead of beer (minus the tip). Another win! We were all chuffed that we were drinking for cheap! (we were only dropping coins when we saw a waitress in the vicinity. As we supped on our Mojitos bloke next to me won $12,000.

The problem with successful people is their ego usually hinders them in future endeavors because they feel like they’ve done it once. So are capable of doing it again because of their prior experience. I don’t think slap fighting is going to be as big as Dana thinks. He's the Shohei Ohtani of MMA. 😂
The thing that fucks me off about Dana is his views on football (or “soccer”)
It’s pure ignorance to call it the least talented sport out there.
It’s one of the few sports you will never see a player from another professional sporting background be able to transition to it half way through their career like you see in most American Sports and combat sports
Too much diving and acting like pussies.
that would be more because of incentive thing than anything else, to get to top level soccer is not easy when you consider how many people are trying to do it. People who transition to another sport are relying on their Fanbase to get them a jump start and with soccer being international there really is no way of doing that as some guys play soccer their whole life and play big games and people still dont have any clue who they are. Its the most popular sport for a reason, because it is the easiest to get into, it requires a ball and a grass field. Is it an easy sport i would say no but its also not a sport that requires any real physical niche nor is it a sport that requires any real sacrifice (its not really that dangerous).
Yea, having a soccer player come be a kicker for an NFL team really demonstrates the elite athleticism soccer players have.
You need to be very fast while have real insane levels of cardio. You can be the most talented soccerplayer in the world if you are not fast and very fit you are done.
