Summer tires in summer, and winter tires in winter. That's how we do it in Scandinavia, and it works well. "All season tires" excel at nothing and are mediocre at many things at my honest opinion. Great video showing the different tires. More of these videos would be nice.

I appreciate the difference that the right tire for the right season can make; my summer tires on my 2018 718 Boxster start behaving VERY differently once the temperature drops to 45F, to the point where I won't drive it in those conditions.
