Spiritual Resistance During the Holocaust Presented by Lori Gerson of Echoes & Reflections

"Resistance does not have to be with a gun and a bullet." These are the words of Holocaust survivor Roman Kent. Join us as we explore the many different ways in which Jews resisted with their spirits, not with their weapons, while under German occupation. The means, scope and intensity of cultural and spiritual resistance efforts of the Jews in the ghettos was nothing short of remarkable. At their core, these forms of resistance are expressions of the capacity to preserve what is best in humanity in the face of the worst that humanity has to offer.
