I truly enjoy mine and I think it has a great solar panel on it as well. Let's see how it does during the winter time.
we have ours mounted under the arbor and so far no issue charging. now if you mean cold and snow please let us know how it works.
Hi, excellent review. I wanted to know if this camera has animal recognition as well as vehicle and person recognition?
thank you. all three detections: pet, vehicle and human are available plus human recognition which is cool since it will say who it sees.
@@Appmyhome Isnt this only if you have the home base? I have one and only detect Human, Vehicle, All Other Motions. Does not show Pet Detection.
You are correct "On-Device** AI: Motion Detection, Human Detection, Vehicle Detection".
We hook up all our cameras to homebase 3 if supported which provides extra capabilities.

How do I get to the "Settings" shown at 6:36 in the video?
there is a gear icon in the upper right when viewing the camera. you can also get there from the eufy Home Screen where the camera is shown by clicking the theee dots then the gear will appear.
What happens if there face is covered does it still follow?
That is a good question which we have not directly tested. It does seem to follow if it only sees the back of the head.
Good luck with yours. Mine is now broken and no longer detects motion after working well for 2 months. Been back to the store and asked for a refund as I don't want this rubbish ever again.

I just installed this and I hate it. I just wanted a camera that would go live when it detected movement like the 340 doorbell. Why they can't do this is beyond me and I need to find a camera that does this but I can't get an answer to that question. I guess this is not important to most...hmm
That is an interesting idea. So if I understand right you’d like your phone to start displaying at motion, when you have the app open or when you click the notification or …?
@@Appmyhome Very simple, if the camera notices movement it displays in instantly. It already records it, Why not come on the screen live at that moment.
you know I just got a survey from eufy about this feature. they must be thinking about adding it. we shall see,
