*Bought a 500 for an ultralight rod. It's very smooth **enjoyable.fishing** recommend casts great. One odd thing- the bale wire is a bit heavy diameter in my opinion for a reel of this size. But a great purchase.*

I love these videos. I’m originally from a place where only freshwater fishing was available, so moving to the coast there was a huge learning curve for me in using artificial. I used to slay bass and bowfin on plastics since forever and couldn’t land a thing inshore using plastics. This really helped me nail my technique and learn to search for fish. Thanks !

I have been following your videos for awhile now, and this was definitely one of your top videos. Very informative, and a great way to showcase the different styles of fishing that you do. I can't wait to try some of these different setups this year.

I love y’all’s videos so far. My biggest complaint about trying to get through a tutorial video is the 5 minutes up front of some guy showing off his stats/sponsor/how cool his boat or surroundings are or it’s mostly just him catching some fish . You guys got right to the point about what you were going to teach and went over the lure technique clearly

Hello from San Antonio, Texas. I really like fishing with Mirrolure. I normally use a suspending twitch bait, using a chartreuse and gold, silver and black, or bone. I also use plenty of Top Dog and She Dog lures as well. It’s fun when you latch onto a bull Red on 20-pound test. It really shows how good a fisher you are if you land it on small weight test.

You really need to think about the hook gap with jig heads and soft plastics, not just the length of the shank. A fatter soft plastic requires a bigger distance between the hook point and shank so you have enough exposed to hook fish. If the hook is too close to the plastic it's hard to hook up.

One little tip for your top water lures, twitch etc...change out treble hooks to single hooks. Less damage if the fish is deep hooked, and easier to de-hook, and less chance of getting hooked if the fish shakes while trying to de-hook it

But since moving to the 757, it's like having to learn how to fish all over again. It's so frustrating to come home empty handed so much of the time. But I have really learned a lot from you and things are SLOWLY starting to improve.
