4Runners were pioneered by Americans, specifically Wisconsin. Winnebago company made the vehicle that became the trekker then the 1st gen 4runner. Until the 4th gen, most every 4runner was based off of the pickup of the same years(2nd gen pickup, first gen 4runner; 3rd gen pickup 89-95 made the 2nd gen 4runner 90-95 etc.). Your model is likely the Limited as the sport or SR5 is the base model. The limited got the locker in the back.
