    The last comment about another 7 fender lines to do is spot on! That is exactly what I need to do!

    Best video I've see so far on this BUT misses one of the most important points: at 4:40 minutes in, the core going back into the sheath to make the ring goes off camera and can't be seen.

    This splice holds under load but you can slip the eye when it's not.

    I have done this on other brands of rope and I seem to remember there being quite a bit more bury.

    Кто-нибудь подобное сплесневание с горной веревкой видел? (Внутренний слой состоит из отдельных прядей, а не плетёнка, как здесь и в других видео).

      Alejandro Garcia Las agujas dependen del Grosor de la cuerda. Tambien puedes utilizar alambres en vez de agujas.

      These are selma kids and you can buy them from any of our stockists, if you visit our website and click ‘where to buy’ you should be able to find your nearest stockist.

    Yeah milking the cover back is never that easy, it never just goes back in like that. You're talking hammers, gloves, two people pulling on it at the dock, lol, no it's never that easy

    • @Timberns
      @Timberns Před 8 měsíci

      The trick is to jerk the eye… Seems backwards but it will pull the cover right over the joint

  • @ubfundergroundboxingfedera6297

    that is a terrible splice as it places the binding load on the COVER and not the core. tisk, tisk.

    • @certifiedbruh

      It really looks like classic splice but vice versa where you first burry the cover into dyneema and then you fit dyneema into the cover and then you pull. I have to spice a thimble for a yacht right now and I believe a classic method with lock stitch is a way to go.
