- the second and final part is finally out! Thank you for your patience -- crocheting takes quite a long time for me since I'm still a beginner. I had so much fun doing this little project and I hope it gave some inspiration for anyone looking to start crocheting or get back into crocheting.

This is literally insane. I remember trying to crochet one oven glove for Mother’s Day once and it was SO hard and so so slow… THE AMOUNT OF DEDICATION IN THIS VIDEO IS UNREAL

If you don't want a string try buttons. Put a loop on the inside and a few buttons on the inside at different widths. You can then adjust it how it fits that day. I did it for a headband for when I wear my hair out vs my hair in twists or braid.

For the bell bottom pants, its probably because you added too many increases too quickly. I would do a row with only a few increases and then alternate between no increase and increase rows. Your outfit came out looking beautiful though at the end 💛

For future you can always single crochet back around the chain to make a sturdier drawstring, it's tedious but definitely worth it. Everything looks great, I love the cardigan colors!

I love this! for visible seams you can turn the piece inside out, so the seam is hidden on the inside, and then attach straps after

I can’t wait to hunker down and finally make a pair of pants 🥹. I often see folx suggest to make the waist band of most garments smaller than your waist size because the ribbing stretches to a certain length (also yarns tend to have stretch as well)… this video helped a lot though 🙏🏽

I would’ve started a little lower with the increase. And the ruffling is usually a sign you’re increasing too fast, but you can also create that effect on purpose if you want a ruffle - good luck! It’s been really cool to see how you’re learning this since I learned young and don’t remember a lot of the process.
