The nighttime is the hardest for me. Scarves always slip off even with bobby pins and the pineapple stretches my waves out. But you give me hope. I have to refresh daily too.

@@NemesisMarie I've tried 3 kinds of bonnets and 1 satin scarf. I just move a lot at night so I think that's the issue. I haven't tried a pineapple with a scarf so I will try that next.

I'M SO HAPPY 😪✨ I've always had curly hair, but never knew how to maintain it. I saw your other video & I use most of the same products you use! I struggle with refreshing it. Now I know how to do so with your steps! Thank you!💚 *P.s. For hair masks, I use the She's Moisture Manuka Honey & Mafura Oil masque. I also use a plastic cap with a heating cap on top & it has done wonders for me! You should try it out☺️

I love that NYM Plump for Joy stuff. I use it just like u upside down at the roots. I even carry a travel size in my purse just in case. Lol
two questions, queen:
1. do you detangle when you refresh?
2. how do you combat frizz on top?! 😩
Eje baby! Pues mira, I only detangle on heavy refresh days, como en el que usé el Denman brush, pero en lowkey refresh days (2nd or 3rd day hair) I don’t detangle.
Y el frizz...pues en verdad mi defining cream me ayuda mucho con el frizz, pero más bien eso depende mucho del clima donde estés. Aquí en los niuyores cuando único me da mucho frizz es en el verano🤦🏽♀️
Pero sí he escuchado que lavarse la cabeza con agua fría (or at least not hot hot) ayuda, y también lavarte y acondicionar tu pelo with your head flipped over👌🏽👌🏽

GIRL Imma be REAL honest with you, I loved the bangs but GODDAMN they grew so freaking fast, I already have to wear them tucked behind my ear or pinned back🥺🥺🥺

New to your channel!! One of my girls has the same type of hair as you. I have been trying all kinds of videos and youtubers to learn with her hair but nothing has worked and i see now that it is bcuz those youtubers have super curly curly hair and my daughter is in that 2A category. My husband’s family has super curly hair and like i said, my daughter’s hair is not as curly as his families hair and so their tips are not for her hair type. i need your help girl! my hair are wavy and look pretty curly while wet but through the day they get ugly kinda straight i mean they don't hold the nice wave/curl. any tips?
Are you using any stylers? (Gel, mousse, cream)

hmmm...then since you’re struggling with hold throughout the day, you might need to use more than just ONE styler.
Maybe you can use a combination of a gel and then a mousse before you start diffusing🧐
Im also guessing frizz might be the main thing causing your curls to loose definition throughout the day, so a little tip while you’re diffusing or letting your hair air-dry is to not touch it too much with your own hands.
These are just the first things that came to mind love

So how often do you wash your hair? And any recommendations on good shampoos and conditioners ?
I've came here again wondering where do you get the satin pillowcase and silk/satin scarf because EVERYTHING I find, and I mean EVERYTHING, turns out to be NOT silk or satin, but satin or silk FEELING polyester. (thanks to the 1 star comments on the products stating the tag says it's 100% polyester despite what the product is advertised to be....)
When I find the real stuff it is outrageously expensive.

Hi luv! A lot of the things I used in this video, I no longer use cuz I’ve moved and replaced items long ago. If you’re looking for a good silk pillowcase, I currently have the Casaluna ones (found in Target), and for scarves…I stopped using them cuz my hair got too long😭 now I use a satin bonnet from Amazon: www.amazon.com/dp/B08CGNWT8N?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

I use the opposite kind of, a Cantu curl activating cream and then a NYM gel. Do you think I should switch to yours? Since I think the Cantu cream is heavier while the NYM gel says it’s medium-hold.

What if I don’t have to go anywhere for day two and three (if you do a refresh here) but have to go somewhere at day four? Can I skip the steps in two and three or do I have to keep them up so I have nice hair at day four?

Do you find that the mousse makes your hair crunchy?
Not that much but you can easily get rid of a gel or mousse cast by scrunching out the crunch☺️

The question here for me is that how do you figure out what your hair needs every day like in the second day you used the gel and the 4th day you just used the mousse..So how did you decide what to use
I haven't used gel for hair yet but I feel like it will make my hair greesy and heavy..doesn't it?
And another question; isn't it unhealthy to sleep with a built up hair with creams and gel on it? Isn't the hair greesy?
Hey love! So I guess it’s just a matter of trial and error, for me personally, I’ve found that for lighter more lowkey hair refreshes, gel works better, but when I’m doing a more “in-depth” refresh where I get my whole hair wet, a combination of the mousse with that hair plumping product works better😊
Also since mousse is more airy and less sticky than gel, I prefer it for when I’m on 4th or 5th day. Gel is a bit heavier and can bring my hair down and make it oilier when I’m that far down the week. I hope you understand what I’m trying to say🧐
And I don’t find that sleeping with those products makes my hair greasy. I have an oily scalp, but it can take up to 4-5 days without having to wash it. BUT I do use a clarifying shampoo almost every time I do my wash days cuz it REALLY helps control de oils.

I have to wash my scalp every two days because I work out and sweet a lot and i want to use only the cream after it and just using the gel for essential days..

I use one from Amazon, I literally just typed “microfiber towel for hair” and got the first one🤣
How do you refresh post workout?
I don’t work out too often, but in the rare occasion I do (lol), definitely some dry shampoo on the roots, shake them, and once I feel like most of the oil has been absorbed, I would refresh it the same way I refresh my second day hair: spritz some water on the areas that need the most refreshing, scrunch in a bit of gel, and diffuse or let it air dry😉
