The white snow reminds me of Roy's white dove. Only time we really see that color in either movie, besides Anna's lab which also makes sense if white is supposed to be a replicant's "soul"

He had no name, no memories, no relationships, kin or respect, even his very humanity was denied to him; absolutely nothing about human society valued him and even replicant society only cared so far as his life would fuel their cause just that much longer.
Back when it came out, it bombed at the box office. However, the plot is much deeper than modern movies nowadays. *Nice job btw*

its not just a retarded cheap remake or cash grab off of a already excising franchise like the rest of them. I was surprised but in a good way. was very good.

May have bombed at the office, but will go down as one of the best modern movies ever made.
Much respect to this movie. It seems to capture the essence of the original Blade Runner, or at least the essence of old cinema, the kind that is rarely done anymore commercially. It was directed by Dennis Villeneuve I think. The guy is good.

One of my favourite movies. The “You look lonely” scene” is honestly one of the greatest scenes I’ve seen in a film. Absolutely amazing.
Its not greatest, but its a good scene when we add all the cinematic experience this scene captures... You feel its greatest because you relate with it...

I wastched this movie few days ago ; i loved it, better than avatar 2. I'm happy to discover it thx "memes" but if describes perfectly what i felt in my depression during 3-4 years ; never give up, never forget you are strong, never forget u are clever (it happens to do mistakes, it's human), never forget you deserve a better version of yourself

No matter what is said anywhere, Ryan Gosling can hang his hat on this film as an absolute masterclass performance. He did this film the best service it could ask for, and trust me, there was so much heavy lifting needed on this kind of sequel. This film is so underrated.

@@dhfhfff7081 потому что фильм не на широкую аудиторию. Есть множество фильмов от лучших режиссёров, которые не набирают большой кассы, и просто идут в минус, потому что нацелены такие проекты на урезанную аудиторию, типа нас здесь.
За это очень благодарен режиссёрам, что дарят такие в фильмы, которые идут в минус.

The way men comment “real” on those posts pretty much means that they relate to the lonliness and pain Officer K went through…all of us men are seeing those non-trustworthy and unfaithful girls that call themselves “real” and those are the girls to put you through the pain and us men all we want is a girl like JOI that listens to us when we are in need and is there for us when we are hurt…JOI did her best to make him happy and he tried his best to keep her with him by bringing her a present so he can take her with him and show her the love he always wanted to show but couldn’t…great video my guy and the movie 1000/10❤

i remember i initially laughed at the name "joe" but now realizing he was just a small push for a story far larger than him, that he's just an android cop, that he's just a guy in a city, that he's just the average joe, it all just hits so much harder than it originally did.
A good representation of that feeling we share, longing to be something better than what we are. To be special

She could’ve stayed hidden in the devices k was carrying her but she had a strong desire to be real for Him. Makes me wonder now

I love this movie. I keep playing that scene at the end over and over again... I think most lose the meaning of it. He represents all of us lost in a world without meaning, and he pivots to point where we find it. What a triumph.
The edit is beautiful. It's not exactly what the movie is about, but it showcases how people can be deceived by their own lies and lose sight of their true selves. These lies give an illusion of comfort, so they lead to becoming someone you are not. When Joe is confronted with the truth of the situation, his curious and empathetic nature make him human. There are other good takes in the comments about loneliness, sadness, etc. I think this is a part of it too, but I may be wording things wrong.

@jamukha9513I also saw this in theater with my brother and my buddy, there was a decent crowd. But God, the movie made me feel euphoric in a way. It was a movie experience I had never felt before and I wish I could erase my memory of this movie to experience that again, it was too special.

Blade Runner 2049 was truly sad. A replicant who just wanted to feel like he was special and to feel like he was important in his own story and wanting to only feel loved by his virtual girlfriend that he cared for so much. Blade Runner 2049 was more truly real to real life than any other movie. #LOVEBLADERUNNER2049.
