    My hair looked like a rat's nest. I used Olaplex 4, 5, 8 & 6 for a few weeks. Then I had all of the brown stripped from my hair before it was toned to match the grey roots. After all of the processing, my hair is in better condition than before! Olaplex is amazing and my hair looks better than ever. Thank you for the tips on 4P as it is definitely in my future!

    I finally gave in and spent more than I normally do on my hair, because I had worked so hard to transition naturally to silver hair, and I wanted to pamper it, and myself. I got the 4p as the purple shampoo to use once a month for the yellowing I have experienced from the sun. My hair is very healthy, no chemicals, thick, and shiney. And I got the bond conditioner and the oil. Anyways, I am devasted...the purple shampoo,...I used a small amount, but enough to cover all my hair, and didn't leave it on long, afraid to the first time, so I would say after scrubbing, I just went to rinse, and I rinsed and rinsed, til I knew it was shampoo free, and I used a deep conditioner that I have always used and loved. But when I dried, and looked in the mirror at the back of my hair, ....completely lavender. And I can't get it to wash out. It is like I dyed it lavender.... I am now on you tube trying to find out how I can gently and without chemicals remove this purple toner. I have learned that just because it costs more, doesn't mean it will be a better product. Perhaps it should have a warning on it that states it could permanently stain some hair, even healthy hair.🤑😒

      @EverythingHairBrand  Před 2 lety +3

      Hi Patty, do not worry! I am happy you found our channel. Olaplex's purple shampoo did not permanently stain your hair and it will simply wash out with your regular shampoo and hopefully you will like the color. It has a very concentrated formula and it should be left on your hair for 1-3 minutes depending on the tone you desire. Olaplex also has a new clarifying shampoo which may help in instances like these just so you know for the future. Check out our Color Wow video where you can learn about the Dream Filter which may benefit you.

    What is the difference between 1/2 together and 2 on its own?
    Vs. 0 and 3 combined?
    I have so many questions and would love your thoughts ^^

    • @EverythingHairBrand
      @EverythingHairBrand  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi Bridgetta, using N1 & 2 together (Stand Alone treatment) will be more effective and will provide you with a deeper repair to help maintain strong and healthy hair vs if you just use N2 on its own (Mini Treatment). However, using N2 alone will also be beneficial. During chemical services, stylists can add N1 into lighteners/bleach, color, etc to help lessen damage during chemical processing. N2 is then used after the chemical service to repair any bonds that may have been missed during the service. If you use 1&2 together as shown in the video, it will help to restore and repair the hair.
      I know it can be confusing because the products are versatile and can be used in different ways. They all have the patented active ingredient Bis-Aminopropyl Diglycol Dimaleate which works on the hair internally to seek out and repair broken disulfide bonds caused by mechanical, thermal, chemical, and environmental damage.
      Since N1&2 is from the Olaplex professional line, N0+3 is what Olaplex released for use at home between services. The integrity, strength, shine, and softness of the hair dissipates over time due to bonds being continuously broken and these treatments will help to maintain the integrity, strength, and structure of the hair. Honestly, both treatments work great to maintain the health of your hair and prevent further damage. If your hair is severely damaged, then obviously you can really benefit from the 1+2 treatment.Otherwise, 0+3 is a great option! If you are bleaching,coloring etc your hair then I do recommend using a bond building treatment like Olaplex at the time of service to lessen the damage caused to the hair.

    Well, I wish it had done that for mine.
    Mine is silver/grey natural. At my ends and one little piece on top looked a little yellow. I had the 4P recommended to me.
    I had tried so many other purple shampoo already.
    Sadly the Olaplex did not take care of it either😞

    • @EverythingHairBrand
      @EverythingHairBrand  Před 2 lety

      Hi Gina, yes I understand your frustration. Since your hair is natural grey it is more difficult to get rid of the yellow pigment. It worked well on my hair because I have bleached/highlighted hair. Have you tried using an entire purple line? For instance, after you use a purple shampoo continue with a purple mask or conditioner and a leave-in.They also have violet toning drops that you can add into your products to counter underlying pigments. Here are a few options you can test out and hopefully something will work out for you! :)
      Kerastase Blond Absolu (they have a grey hair set) www.kerastase-usa.com/collections/blond-absolu?start=0&sz=24

      I have tried the Olaplex 4P a few more times and getting better results.
      I shampoo well to remove products first.
      Then just put on trouble spots and leave for few minutes then rinse out... I try not to let it get in my natural silver/grey because it turns it darker.
      Not as drying as the other purple shampoos 😌
      I may just figure this out. Someday😂

    My hairdresser recommended I do this at this alarm it was a $120 at the salon so I ended up buying a product myself and and doing it However I think it's weird that toner is being used it's being used when I have an appointment coming up on the 3rd It's pretty contradictory to what you're saying and regard to not touching anybody's hair if it if it is compromised or burnt to a crisp

    • @EverythingHairBrand
      @EverythingHairBrand  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi Joyce, if your hair is severely damaged I would keep doing the Stand Alone Treatment (N1&2) as this is their most potent, most concentrated treatment available and it is safe to use as often as needed. You can also look into the K18 molecular repair hair mask as it is much easier to do and the feedback from people is great. We will be testing it on my hair soon and comparing it with Olaplex. You can purchase a sample size of the K18 mask to test it out and see how it works for you.
      As far as the toner goes, if you must use it for color correction- then it's better to use a toner with a built in bonder like the REDKEN Shades EQ Bonder Inside Hair Toner czcams.com/video/sc6cII098io/video.html

      Hi Tiddy, I'm sorry to hear you had this experience. 4P is meant for blondes, lightened, and grey hair. It neutralizes the brassiness and brightens blonde hair. It contains a highly concentrated pigment which allows customizable toning levels ideal for medium to light blonde tones (levels 7 and up) in which yellow or brassy tones need to be controlled. The longer you treat, the brighter the toning results (up to 5 min).

You should still get great results 💕

    The instructions on No2 say shampoo before using

    • @EverythingHairBrand
      @EverythingHairBrand  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi @Julia, I understand your concern. N2 is versatile and can be used in several different ways. If you want to do the Stand Alone treatment as shown in the video, it is not necessary to shampoo the hair prior to starting. However, if your hair has a lot of product build up such as oils or silicones then you can shampoo first, rinse, and towel dry. Then apply to damp, towel dried hair.
      N2 is also used after chemical services to repair any bonds that may have been missed during the service. On the bottle it states “After shampooing lightener or rinsing colour from hair, towel-dry” which is applicable to the above. Step 3 states to rinse from hair and then shampoo. Hope this helps!

      Hi Paula, my hair is actually very difficult to manage and has low porosity so it's much more difficult for my hair to absorb products. This does not mean that the products we are showing in the video are not amazing. They work very well for many people and I wouldn't want you to not test them out because you feel my hair looks dry. If you compare my before and after, you can see a significant improvement in my hair after the treatment which is a very important factor to take note of.
