This is the most stunning footage of this tornado yet. Just those super quick glimpses are pretty damn frightening!

SAME. Kept waking up and being mad the sirens were still going. In the morning I realized how bad it had been, I'm in old hickory I was only 3 miles out of its path

Me too! It hit a mile or so from me, but I slept through it because my alert didn't come through on my phone. I have a NOAA radio now, but I wasn't expecting a storm that night at all, let alone the possibility of a tornado.

Why do they keep restarting a video that's only a few seconds long to create a longer video? I hate that.
Prayers for the people of Tennessee.

I would have appreciated the video more if the FOX 2 St Louis box been blocking where the Tornado was in the image. I am so disgusted with what CZcams has become. I'm sure it was an impactful video, and based on the comments I seem to be the only one who experienced this anomaly. Just wish I could have seen it.

So is the top clouds considered the tornado too?

Yes the cold & warm air do NOT mix they just spiral around each other the cause is the rising spiral yet it is the formation of the actual tornado TOP DOWN... it is when the touch down that the damage is really serious the rotating winds can reach speeds from 350- 500 mph... which is unreal
People who live in tornado alley have to recognize that these are a part of their life during tornado season & they should NEVER IGNORE the warnings... keep the storm shelter well supplied, ensure you have power generation that will not poison/choke you in shelter... ensure you have 1st aid, communications capability... ensure you & your neighbors agree to check on each other in case a tree/debris traps you in place... makes sure you have food blankets flares etc... this is a part of your life when you live in Tornado alley... sleep in your storm shelter when necessary- YOUR LIFE is more important than convenience...
      BE SMART STAY ALIVE
Prayers are with you all as you recover & deal with the aftermath of this devastation.
DEMAND that your local gov't build concrete & steel community storm shelters for people on the road etc when storms/ tornadoes/ pandemics hit that can be used as hospitals & quarantine as well...
This is something everyone should have access to even strangers on the highway, truckers, homeless, people in motels etc etc

Not much scarier than a tornado at night. Spotting it through the lightening would have been terrifying.

Trumpet is throwing mother of bomb on other country, and this is microscopic disaster.
Says” drive a nail into a coffin of somebody”
Hope all innocent people be safe all around the world.
But hope disasters come to all bad politicians like Trump, Modi, Natanyaho, Asad, Mecron, Aung, Emrankhan and etc.
