    Greetings from Belarus. It's such an interesting thought to live in a tropical climate where you can have such fruit to eat. If I could get the most horrendously filthy neighbors to stop killing the entire region I live in with their automobile, we might be able to have apples, cherries, pears, apricots, many sorts of berries and plums that grow here almost without effort. 52° north, no papaya but the children can get a snack in the fall if they have a long stick. I only wish they could find it in themselves to get through the shit in their heads to remember what it was like when it was a little bit of a garden here. Cheers mate for the entire concept.

    You are real inspiration! we are moving into our own countryside with just little bit of knowledge about gardening, but i can tell after just a few episodes of yours, that we are already learning a lot, although we live in northern hemisphere, just the mindset it self enriches our perception. Keep it up! Lots and lots of thank you. You remind us of Gandalf. Stay strong and healthy. Best wishes!

    Fun Fact: I've recently learned that Pineapples are ripe, when they are about to break of their stalk. The stalk becomes brittle and brown at the base of the fruit and it should be possible to lightly twist the Pineapple of. I hope this is of use. 😊 Greetings from Germany

    Hey Weedy! if you cut the pineapple top into quarters and take the inner leaves out. You can have four new pineapple plants. Great trick i found here on youtube. I tried it myself, it works.
    Thanks for inspiring me love your videos.

  • @portiamonnette
    @portiamonnette Před 2 měsíci +1

    Hey weedy I didn't read all the comments. So maybe you have already been told. You have the little shoots that grow out at the base of the pineapple. They're like little babies that you can pull off /snip off and plant. they will produce a new fruit within 1 year and a 1/2. Whereas planting the tops of the pineapple takes twice as long to fruit. ... By the way, thank you so much for making your videos. I was actually able to get my daughter interested in gardening because of how beautiful your work is. I wish I had more money to send to help buy new cameras for you.❤🎉😊
