    I find it incredible that Rip can instantly pull a cue from is mind for any minor or major problem some has with any olmpic or powerlifting movenent. Its admirable.

    Rip is a genius. Try harder! But he only dropped that tip after fixing the feet and hips. The student was in his head, and Rip knew it. Everyone should have a coach like Rip.

    Lol Taking in the $6 t -shirt, the truck driver/ janitor key ring tied to his belt, the biker stach and the flip flops. The best strength coach on the planet and he dresses like a midwestern middle added plumber on the weekends. Or like Harry from Disco Elysium 3/4 of the way through the game.

      Fabio Tieri not at all. Good technique and strong fast twitch fibres will make it pretty easy.

    6:50 and THIS is why ppl hate ss… they say being skinny is why he failed the lift! there are way skinnier lifters that hit bigger numbers. how about maybe the technique, cues, coaching? be better

      That’s a fair point but they say that because their primary goal is increasing overall strength not maximizing your lifting efficiency.

    This part of the program is such a waste. Better time and effort could be spent doing arm curls and leg extensions.

      @@Mks25932 It's so funny what can happen in 2 years time. I'm actually doing curls and lateral raises now, in ADDITION to my barbell strength training.
      When you get to intermediate you begin to be able to afford to add in some "fluff" work.
      Leg extensions though, not gonna happen. lol
