- Hi! As a new TPT seller in 2023, I love watching TPT income report videos for motivation and business research! Please remember that every niche, store, and creator is DIFFERENT! I am sharing my report to hopefully add to the information and motivation out there.

Congratulations!! You're off to such a great start. I opened my store almost 6 months ago, and seasonal resources are my best sellers, but I don't have many evergreen things, which is something I need to work on. Thanks for sharing your journey!

I think your approach is great- spending the first year just getting used to the whole process and then tweaking from there. Good luck with year two!

hi, it's a very good income,... I'm curious about what kind of resources that you sell?...I have 50 products in my TPT store but the sales is still low....
Hi! Thank you!! I sell mostly reading resources for secondary subjects! Particularly lesson plans that I’ve used in my classroom. Most of my earnings were from seasonal resources! If I were to give any advice, focus on back to school and seasonal! Make seasonal resources for each month so your income is steady (ex: I have resources for new years and MLK day for January, valentines for February, and so on). Good luck!

Hmm you started making sales on April 3rd and then also sales on the 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and almost every day of the month, and you said you started in April? Did you post a bunch of resources and their previews and thumbnails early morning on April 1st or something? Very unusual to have your first month have almost 100% of the days with sales.
Hi! My first month, I knew nothing about previews and thumbnails. I basically just posted resources from my classroom and used a photo of the resource as the main cover for the first few weeks (before I learned that was not optimal). My first batch of resources were posted March 27th (about 15 with no “real” thumbnails and previews). Then later I went back and updated. Hope that helps!
