- I took my dog out to ride on the 2023 Honda XR150L to get him more comfortable. He loves it, but you can tell he is still a little nervous because he's up so much higher than his sidecar for the electric bike. It is just so much more fun riding with a buddy! @EbikesandMore no worries. I'm getting a 2015 XR150 next week. After 2019 they cannot be road legal here because no ABS. The new models are mainly used only by farmers which a shame.
That is a shame and so weird to hear all the differences accross the world when people talk about how things are locally where they are. The U.S. doesn't care too much about ABS... but this bike wasn't in our country until last year mostly because of EPA reasons. So they did all kinds of stuff to the carb Herr on the U.S. version.
@EbikesandMore yeah I know. I think your version is tuned down a bit. In Australia they've stopped the sale of CT125 which were hugely popular because only the front wheel is ABS lol. I've recently sold my Royal Enfield Himalayan. Needed to sort out some thing, but buying a cheap secondhand XR150 to keep me riding. There's lots of adventure bike riding where I am in the South Island, so I'll kit my XR out to be a mini adventure bike. @@EbikesandMore you’re welcome! I’ll be posting more videos of my XR150L soon. Hopefully you’ll do the same and check them out. So far for power I have a 222cc BBK and a BBR cam with a custom undertail exhaust that I’m in the middle of making for super cheap.
I got my Honda XR150L a few months ago and I sure luv it, and I got my brother a Honda Ruckus and his is more fun to ride. I added some blue reflective strips to my wheel rims and it looks bad ass, I only rode XR to the mountains once and dam it was fun, and I went to the lake, but mostly ride around town on a nickel's worth of gas. Let's ride
Yes, it's a great little bike and ridiculous on gas. I've done 900 miles so far, and probably only spent $20.
