Brilliant episode. The long awaited grandeur story took me back to lock down when I was still a student trying to put together digital gigs for struggling artists in durban with my mates, we secured funding from the department of sports, arts and culture. Long story short we ended up getting dribbled by a lady who claimed she'd help and she pocketed the whole bag. I felt weak, swaak for quite a bit but I dusted myself off, gave my mates a pep talk and let them know that we were still the smart and capable minds that drew up a proposal that was awarded the funding, not her. Yes we got dribbled, a baptism of fire, but yet we remain. We have many more ideas that'll come to us, and many more people will be willing to invest in us as long as we stay true to ourselves and our capabilities. Thanks for the inspiring story my guy. Big ups to Tebogo for nicely explaining what guys do not see when they be talking about women. It's like she's reprimanding them but in a nice way.... If women could use this strategy to talk to men...we'd be more clued up or informed. Not every issue needs to be handled harshly. Gawd damn she need to come once a month to the podcast to iron out guys. i know GhostLady does the same thing at some point.
But I also think the point was missed because some of women Mac is usually talking about they cheat. They sleep with people and get jobs they don't deserve over people who are actually talented. Not to say Tebogo was just off but there are holes in what she's saying.

Nah i don't think she understood the point that Mc G was trying to make its not about what you doing in your privet space or time , but if what you do in your private space contributes to your bottom line then don't come and tell us about working hard and perseverance while you know you took short cuts you slept your way to the top so to speak and probably took the chance away from someone who actually is what you claim to be hardworking .She couldn't even answer him on that role model question , she was just in her feelings for nothing and he let her off the hook way too easily
