Jack P Thank you for your response. I bought a small programmable electric kiln from the Tabletop Furnace Company awhile back. The directions that came with it seem very limited. I don’t understand the process yet on how to go from the dry clay to the finished piece.

My wheel has an adjustment knob to control the speed (see me adjust it at timestamp 2:29). If you cannot control the speed that way, try applying a little more pressure which will slow the wheel head. Hope this helps!
Could this be done with air dry clay? I know there will be a high chance of cracking as the clay dries but ignoring that I do wonder if it could be shaped on the wheel.
Id like to try some unique shapes... Oval perhaps... With holes or a separation in the vase... Maybe a miniature water fountain...

Airman AP I use oven bake clay so I can pop them right into my oven afterwards, no kiln. Then a nice glaze :)
They sell mini kilns in the same place they have the big ones. I got one.

You can get the mini wheel with electricity or USB.

No, I just listen to music while I work so I don't include the original audio due to copyrights.
