drop test is useless wenn is schrach on the lens make that camera useless

The drop test was after all of my filming (just in case). I also had the premium lens guards on which protected the lenses 👌

With your Cardo can you connect to your phone the same time as the x4
Looks like an ok upgrade! Would like a bigger sensor though, i feel it might still struggle on low light conditions!
How do you have the stick mounted? The wind pushes the selfie stick around the ram ball for me!

I’m interested in getting one of these to mount centrally on my handlebars and tilted towards me. Would it have a wide enough fov to see the handlebars/dash when video is facing forward and enough to see me riding when video is looking towards me, without having too much fish eye effect?

About a week before announcement I was researching and about to drop the money on an X3, but held off on pressing the purchase button "just in case". Glad I did now! The X4 even better fits what I want to do, even if I'm new to the 360 world :)

The X2 and X3 shot 5.7k, which when reframed as a rectangle gave a 1080p resolution shot. When now filming in 8k, do you know what this reframes to?
if you check out 'chaos causes' video he mentions once edited it will go to 4k

Does the X4 have the same recording gap after the 29 minute mark as the X3? I use the X3 primarily for recording my rides and hate that there is a gap created between the files.

You know..when it comes to using the QUICK option in rhr apo software, i never used it becsuse it didnt allow me to add telementry data after editijg my footage using that method. That wohld make my workflow so much faster if i could edit my footage via app using the QUICK mode and still add telementry data to that edited footage

Voice recording of whole DMC group worked already on Garmin Virb Ultra 30 back in 2017. Interesting is that now it seems to be like incredible new feature :)
Does anybody know if all previous cameras attachements fit this new X4?
My X2 overheats and stops all the time. How’s temp management for this one.
It would be interesting to hear how the X4 built in mic picks up the engine noise and how it handles wind... I still use a hero 7 black with a wind slayer and sound is great (without having to resort to an external recorder). Maybe adding foam to the X4 mic would make sense or maybe it is not even needed. Either way would love to know before making a purchasing decision.
The wind muffs for the X3 and X4’s are available and do help. It depends on the angle of the camera, but you can pick up some damn impressive pipe audio if done right

But what editing app can you export in 8k? And what media hosting platform can you upload in 8k? Isn't CZcams restricted to 4k anyway? And wouldn't most people struggle to watch 8k because of polling when streaming? Just sayin'...
And Support, I have just ordered one through your link, I’m in Canada and go to the UK on the 1st of May, and really hope I get it before I leave so I can use it on my epic UK to Turkey trip. Not that I think you can,but if you can put in a good word for a quick delivery, it would be appreciated. I wish I had your skills but I use this trip to practice them. Heya Moto feelz I don’t know if you’re aware of this but when (out of curiosity) I clicked your affiliate link for the Ace Pro, it now says the free gift is a screen protector and NOT a free battery. I have used the link in the past when I was checking out the camera and it used to give us a free battery but now it doesn’t. Just thought I’d make you aware ~ Milan 🇬🇧 :)
TINY little 1/2 inch sensors that each cover a hemisphere.. whereas the Ace Pro has a 30% bigger sensor to cover 1/10th of the viewing range
Since I only bought the X3 6 months ago, I'd like to get more use out of it before jumping up to the X4 so probably in the summer of 2025 I'll be looking at that upgrade. The X4 does look like a great 360 cam to get though.
Is there still a ~30 second gap between 29 minute videos while videos save as with the X3? Or up to 135 minutes continuous recording now?
I’m unsure. I only ever use it to record a few mins at a time. In my long term review I’ll test it

It isn’t unfortunately. The X4 has a much larger capacity and is slightly larger in size.

Just the ability to use glass lensprotector worth the upgrade to me.
I have tested the DJI Mic 2 with the X4 via Bluetooth, and it’s impossible; it doesn’t work. Also, I think even using the receiver with the X4, transmitting via Bluetooth won’t work well for motovlogging. So... what’s the point? You have to use just the transmitter in your helmet alone without connecting it to the X4. I don’t understand it

I wonder if they are actually waterproof or if it's just another empty promise from them. Previous models would drown even if the battery and USB door were closed

30fps does not cut it. my s23 ultra does 8k30fps with just one back camera. we need at least 8k60fps or more.
