Dhalgrim It's more a formal book version of English than colloquial forms that English-only speakers use with localization and slang. The same happens anytime someone learns a new language, they are taught the formal version because learning a localized version doesn't prepare them for wider use of the language. Like with Chinese, if you learned Beijing Mandarin you wouldn't be able to speak and be understood properly in large parts of China. Or if you learned Osaka or Okinawan Japanese, you would be looked at funny in most of the other parts of Japan.
Peyman Salehi Also, note she speaks with a British English accent, not an American or a Swedish accent. Charlize Theron always speaks with an American accent, even in interviews, and I wish she'd speak with her natural South African accent.
PopeLando We're taught British English in school. Not American English. Plus, being a actress, I wouldnt be suprised if she put some extra effort into learning better english language skills.

I knew an Indian guy who actually had to learn 6 other similar languages to his own. Chinese are the same with their dialects, as well as Germans for example.
