Nice one Jim the fox running off with the rabbit was brilliant to see and that actually looks a good scope to be fair, also its been may be 20 years since we had rabbits about here in them numbers 👍👍

The farmer wants them controlled but I'm not taking a shot just for the sake of it I have to be certain. And the rabbits are plentiful but mixi has arrived so it's hit the population hard. Such an awful way to control a pest.

I’ve noticed now that they are being advertised as being discontinued on OPW site they don’t seem to have had a long run .I can’t decide as to get a wraith 4k max or a Wulf they have both come down in price. Another very good video thanks 👍

Whether OPW are not selling them anymore or whether Wulf are not making them anymore I don't no, I will try and find out. Both scopes are very good I owned the 4k max 👌 but like the wulf doesn't record the crosshairs on the 4k setting. To be honest if I had to choose I think I would go with the wraith 4k max I feel the image quality is slightly better. Just my opinion mate.
My thoughts exactly looked at the wolf when it first came out. Was looking at the the wraith and the pard but saw the wolf was reduced on their Web site. Just concerned that with it being discontinued how much support and update s there will be

I've had a Wulf 4K since they first came out. It was on my .223 foxing rifle until May (replaced by thermal it's now on my .22lr) and I agree with all you say. I used a laser IR . That increased the image quality out to ranges beyond which I'd take the shot. The focus is very sensitive at night but that's my only niggle. It's accounted for a lot of foxes and grey squirrels.
It is a good scope and I'm actually thinking of getting one now. It's nice to hear you share the same thoughts as me on it. That front objective focus really is the biggest problem at night for me but it's something I would put up with as the positives are far greater. Thanks for watching and commenting 🙂

@shooterunknown tough choice but personally I would go for the Alpex but that's just my opinion. Just the front focus is stiff so if you get one put a fishing coaster on it. The Pulsar C50 is nice and smooth. The twilight and night mode with the Alpex is incredible I think.

I was watching with interest, your shooting with the CZ457, and wondered what type of ammunition you used here. Now no need for the brand name, ( unless they're a sponsor :) but just the weight and listed speed will do me, please. Thanks for this one, again.
Glad you enjoyed it mate and the ammo I use are CCI subsonic hollow point 40 grain high velocity. I have used these for years absolutely love the round and they work well out of the CZ to.
Hi Jim , I don’t think many folks will moan about the scope footage quality ! Well the Foxes might not be that keen🥴 Nice to see the full widescreen image though, one thing the Alpex doesn’t do, I know what I’d prefer to watch, on my widescreen tv. I don’t think there are many colour choices on the reticles , from listening to my mate Keith . Slow motion is a great feature too👍 So in the whole , a scope worth considering from the many available on the market now 👍👍

Another quick question please Jim I’ve noticed your reticle is still pretty much centre of screen when I zeroed my Wulf in using the one shot system my reticle is now off centre apart from that I really like the scope .looking forward to your next video your channel is one of the best out there
Hi mate does your wulf scope have the latest firmware update on it? I would try that first. I only had the scope for a month and I have sent it back to its owner now. I didn't have any issues with the reticle being offset so I would definitely go online to find out about any updates. If you try that and have no luck let me know and I will see if I can find out for you. If it works then great just let me know. And thank you for your comment I appreciate it 👍

Can’t fault OPW who are refunding me as I’ve only had it a couple of days .Think I’ll go for the 4k wraith ultra and carry spare quality rechargeable AA’s .I must have just been unlucky as other people swear by their Wulfs👍
@MrRw59 that's a shame mate and yes Opticswarehouse are very helpful when it comes to sorting things out. Can I ask did you buy one of the refurbished ones from them or was it new? Let me know how you get on with the ultra as I've not tried one of those and will be interested to see what it's like.

Well done Pal, good shooting, But tell me, if you had the choice would you buy an Arken Zulus with LRF OR the Hik Alpex & LRF, I understand that the Alpex is quite heavy , while the Zulus is half the weight of the Alpex but is a similar price. Hi mate firstly thanks for watching and that is a very good question. Now I have both the Alpex LRF and the Zulus LRF but I haven't tried them out properly yet. Yes the Zulus is alot lighter and has the ballistic calculator like the Alpex but one thing I have noticed is it would suit a left handed shooter better than a right. I'm right handed so I would probably say I would choose the Alpex for that reason. The are both excellent quality scopes image wise was but not used them at night yet. The zoom function on the Zulus is a tiny little wheel at the rear of the scope just behind the buttons so if you wear gloves you would struggle to operate it. Once the weather gets better I will be testing them properly just not sure when as I have a couple of other reviews to do first. Sorry I can't give anymore info at this point. All the best Jim

For the price less than £400 going to be hard to beat better image than the pard 35 lrf 50 the 4k on the wulf is spot on
Yes to buy one for under £400 is a bargain. I haven't tried the pard ds so I can't compare it. But I was impressed with the image quality.

Well that wasn't good then but I didn't have any problems like that with this scope. So maybe rhey had early issues which have been sorted now.
