So glad you guys enjoyed this movie. It’s one of my all time childhood faves. Definitely disagree about Don being a coward though. A liar yes but not a coward. Those other infected were up those stairs seconds after he hopped out that window. Had he stayed all 3 of the likely would’ve died

I have a few other zombie movies on the other side of the zombie spectrum. I think you should check out Night of the Living Dead for it's was instrumental to the creation of the modern zombie, as well as the original Dawn of the Dead from 1978

most people don't know but there is 2 comics books about 28 days later franchise, one is called 28 days later the aftermath, and tells the backstory to why and who created the rage virus, and the other comic is called 28 days later, and is a sequel to the first movie, selena is in it, and the story connect itself with the second movie and happens at the same time with the second movie. both comics are pretty good. you can read online. And recently cillian Murphy talked in interviews about the third movie being confirmed and looks like is gonna be called 28 years later. I recommend you guys to react to dawn of the dead 2004.

First of, thank you for reacting to the first 28 Days Later and reacting to 28 Weeks Later - the most polarised sequel to its predecessor. Means a lot and when the day comes, I’ll be seeing yer reaction to 28 Years Later soon when it’s out on our own film screens someday.
The music piece for Don’s transformation into a zombie and killing his wife was originally used for Frank's death from 28 Days Later and that broke our hearts when we see a guy who is hoping there would be civilization left in the UK after the rage virus devastated the country die after saying his final "I'm sorry" and "I love you" to his daughter.
And now, we see Don, a guy who became very regretful for leaving Alice - his wifey and mum of their two kids - to die, saying what would be his final "I'm sorry" and "I love you" to her before turning into a monster who is fighting within his rage, hence the name "rage virus".
So Frank and Don have got things in common: they're both fathers, they were married before the Rage virus outbreak, they got infected in a different way (Frank from blood drop from corpse and Don from a kiss with a carrier) and their last words before turning included "I'm sorry" and "I love you".
P.S. Frank gets gunned down immediately after he turns by assault rifles while Don gets gunned down with an assault rifle by his daughter later on
One last thing I gotta get off my mind: Don Harris should’ve had a redemption story-arc in which Alice doesn’t infect him but a US soldier or two would end up getting infected by Alice.
Soldiers would come in on General Stone’s orders and forcibly remove Don outta the room before he would kiss Alice, confused and wondering whats going on until he realizes that she is infected yet immune. The troops then heavily guard the area, with Don heartbroken by whats happened to his wife and driven by guilt for abandoning her. That is until Alice accidentally bokes on one of the soldiers’ face, leading to her very own death at the hands of the two infected (instead of infected Don), getting killed the same way she did and thus causing the Rage virus outbreak in District One.
When Andy gets separated from Tammy & Major Scarlet Levy, Don will put pressure on NATO to track his son down and then get chased again by infected who get gunned down by the troops, who also have to kill uninfected.
Don would’ve joined not only his two kids (who are grateful he’s alive yet pissed off at him for lying) but also Scarlet and Sergeant Doyle from the very moment they escape from District One before the firebombing commences.
Rest of the film goes as normal - Doyle getting set ablaze by the US troops, Scarlet beaten to death with assault rifle by an Infected - by the end of the storyline I came up with for Don, he will make the ultimate heroic sacrifice by pouring a loada perfume (the rage zombies’ catnip) all over himself, admit his fault and saying his final “I’m sorry” and “I love you” - he would inject himself with his son’s Rage-infected blood so that he would distract a herd/mob of the infected, maybe beat and kill a few or a bunch at a time.
Don’s transformation into a zombie in this scene the way it’s filmed and choreographed remains the same in my version but he would’ve looked at his two kids and control his own rage - exhibiting form of sadness knowing that he’s a goner. Then he runs off. The infected crowd would gain upper hand at Don, who then lights himself on fire due to the perfume being flammable, thus setting off chain reaction to the infected crowd being set ablaze, all of em including Don then die at the hail of gunfire by NATO troops.
How about them apples?
I would lie to the kids as well. There was no reason to think that anything good could come from telling the truth.

Cool bit of news that i read a few months ago is that a third movie is being worked on and it's the original creators that are working on it and it's supposed to be called 28 Years Later and Cillian Murphy is rumored to make a return but obviously since it's a rumor i don't know if he will or not oh yeah and one day i told my brother about this news because me and him love both 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks later and we've been wanting a third movie for so long and i also told my brother that Jim, Selena, Hannah, Tammy, Andy, and Flynn should all be in the third movie and they could meet eachother and team up and they could also meet and team up with whoever the new good characters are going to be

Just recently started watching you guys you guys are sick.. btw not sure whats like the main theory but i believe they did not in fact make a cure out of the kid. Since they just randomly showed a new city falling as soon as they get picked up i believe it was because the kid didntknow he could transfer the infection or the sister so either he gave it to the sister or someone else and then the next city fell because of them. Either way amazing movie amazing reaction !😌😌

There were or maybe even still are plans for the third movie, which would most likely be called “28 months later” but the plans have not come to fruition up to this day
2 sequels been confirmed. 28 years later and its sequel by Sony pictures. Danny Boyle I think is directing it but not the sequel.

28 weeks later is probably one of the best zombie movies that was ever made. Next to George Romero's zombie movies
The ending was a response to 28 Days Later's “optimistic“ ending. The director of 28 Weeks wasn't exactly happy with how the first movie ended so he wanted the sequel to have a much darker and depressing ending.

The worst is, this are not zombies, just really, reeeeeeeeeeeally angry-induced people through a virus. That sucks more to me because you are still alive, feeling every pain but you dont care because of the rage. Interesting fact: the red lantern corps in the DC comics are based in this infection.

The “I hate you” mentioned in the beginning of the video was actually a technical error that the filmmakers made. The rage virus infected can’t talk since they’re practically reduced to feral animals.

Don is the actual only person who would surviva an actual apocalypse and has max survival instincts… but he fucked it up, it’s always the beloved who can lead us to death LMAO. But it wasn’t really the wife’s fault tbh she didn’t know either and don just turned into the ultimate casual dumbass in a zombie movie kissing his contained wife knowing she got bit when he tried to save himself. He clearly saw it too lmao, dumbass move to kiss someone who is contained, like i get it that it’s your wife who you’ve been together for decades but cmon man. it’s a fucking apocalypse lmao.

The major issue I have with the "fast" zombies we see in the 28 movies, WWZ, Busan, etc., is that I don't see our species surviving. Surviving is already tough with SLOW zombies, like in TWD...
