I was honored to set up this interview with Lauren Podell and my buddy Johnny. We are true friends today and was there for two hours during this interview. Johnny will be 85 this December and doing wonderful!
What a great story. He could have written a book called " I Spent 10 Days With The King " but he was a true friend that didn't care about the money, just knowing that they were friends was enough.
Hahaha....awww now this was real guy stuff !! It's so hard to believe that Elvis would have been in his 80's . That had to be cool to be his friend or family . I know I miss and love Elvis too .

I never get tired of hearing personal experience stories from people who either had a brief celebrity encounter with him or who counted him as a close acquaintance. Elvis brought joy to so many people during his brief and tragic life. No matter how bad he felt inside it was always important to him to increase the happiness of those who were around him . . That’s why he loved to perform. And it’s also the reason why he was uber generous with friends,family and even strangers. He always put others before himself . His mother raised a genuine angel.
ELVIS 😇💜 was A GIVER 💖🤑🏡💎🚙🚜💍💰 WITH A VERY BIG HEART 💙 He gave Johnny 🤩 his friendship and an expensive watch ⌚. They had a lot of fun times together such as playing football 🏈 ELVIS served this country 👍 He worked in the freezing 🥶 cold and snow ❄️ in Germany. Elvis donated his salary 🤑 to the Army 🪖 He bought television 📺 sets, uniforms 💎 and other things for his fellow soldiers 🤩
Great to hear such a beautiful story especially after just hearing news that made me so sad. Yea, you say how worse could it get. Priscilla saying she found letters Elvis took his own life. But I believe it because hearing all the closest to him & books written, that is what the signs of Elvis's behavior & things he said & did. Not because Priscilla said so. So sad he just wanted to leave, that he was that unhappy. But now he's with God, never to have pain or sadness again. Oh the things Sheila has said also had me so sad, how bad he was for a very long time. I know he was no angel but he made up by being such a kind, generous man to a fault. Gave to many charities, to strangers & made more ppl happy then the ones that were sad. May Elvis rest in peace & fly in the heavens.

Wow. Elvis was beyond anything or anyone. His presence alone brought joy to so many. He was part of everyone that loved him.
