- Kevin Parr fishes a favourite swim for roach, dace, chub and perch, under the scrutiny of a ravenous pike, and is distracted from his task by the tea-making genius of Chris Yates.
Having fished the Dorset Stour for over twenty years, the angler returns to a favoured landmark where the fish are reliable. Chub, roach, perch and dace come to the net attracting the unwanted attention of a pike. As the day goes on, friends Garrett Fallon and Chris Yates join from other parts of the river. But with a bag full of fish, and last knockings coming fast, why would the angler move anywhere?
Mr Chris yates, and kevin parr, this was a delight to watch, and thank you for making my evening complete.

Ah, the Stour. Used to fish it when I worked in Sturminster Newton (a lifetime ago). A moody thing it is and this video did it justice. I shall have it fish it again....
Its a lovely spot!
Wonderful atmospheric film
Lovely film, thank you Garrett, Nick, Kevin and Chris. I think I know that spot - Terry Lampard's home water.
Thank you Anthony
Splendid, thanks
Stour is quarter mile from where I live,
Its your rod you were using that caught my eye, looked exactly like my old fave 15 footer hollow glass fibre rod,

Christmas has come early.
Oh my word... Heaven..,.
Absolutely love your work.😎. May I ask where your got the bank stick. Cheers Ian.
Thank you Ian. It was made by a gentleman who goes by the name RB Traditional. He very kindly sent me a pair (and I still have both!) although I'm not sure if he makes them to order or for profit. IT's hazel, so light as a feather......v best Kev
@@kgparr thanks for your quick response. I may have a crack at making one as we have several hazel trees on the property. I’ll post my effort when finished. 😬 cheers Ian.
Lovely film. If I could have a slight grumble, music sometimes overwhelms the commentary
you grumble away you miserable old git!
👍👍👍.
