One of my personal goals this year is to go back to my roots and create lots of mixed-media artwork. 👩‍🎨
I'll be sharing these explorations with you, which will be often done in sketchbooks, alongside my regular watercolor and drawing tutorials.
I want to bring more fun into my practice and allow myself to experiment with different supplies and techniques. My aim is to arrive at a unique style that has myself in it and a way of working that I thoroughly enjoy, from beginning to end.
In this video, I share my 5 best mixed-media tips that will help you consistently arrive at results you'll love. Alongside this, I'll be sharing a timelapse of a colored pencil and watercolor piece I worked on in my sketchbook a few days ago.

Just starting with water colors as started w crayons, colored pencils, then acrylic’s & each alone. Now can’t find any colored pencils that put down decent “color” & can’t put heavy pressure using colored pencils (arthritis) but once had Prisma kind but very expensive & only need certain colors. Tyvm

@@ErikaLancasterArt Thank you and after many reviews just went with a smaller set of Prisma’s that have cool & warm of primary colors (as don’t need 92 colors) for sure! Ty!
