Problem with going just left is that if he likes older music and drums are on the right, then the subs won't receive the signal. Other than that, Clean work.
Never thought about that! Wow.
That was my only thought when watching this and considering putting subs in my Sonata.
So how would u do it to prevent that situation u mentioned ?

So the rca jack wires connect to the rear speaker wires?

Doesn't look like he is going to update, I found this:
Left Front Speaker (+/-) red - blue +,- radio, white 18 pin plug, pins 2 - 11
Right Front Speaker (+/-) green - orange +,- radio, white 18 pin plug, pins 3 - 12
Left Rear Speaker (+/-) white - black +,- radio, white 18 pin plug, pins 1 - 10
Right Rear Speaker (+/-) brown - white +,- radio, white 18 pin plug, pins 4 - 13
Center Channel (+/-) red - blue (JBL) +,- amplifier in trunk right side, white 12 pin plug, pins 5 - 11
Subwoofer (+/-) white - brown (JBL) +,- amplifier in trunk right side, white 12 pin plug, pins 6 - 12
I’ve been trying to find a video about this car and this setup forever and finally stumbled upon this. I can’t thank you enough and I plan on copying this setup exactly. My only question is that you said at the end you tuned the frequency’s but didn’t elaborate. Can you explain that so I know I’ll be doing everything right please? I’ve been looking for instructions like this fir well over a year. Again thank you!!!
I have the infinity premium audio sound system. Can I replace everything without adding an extra Amp? Speaker upgrades and subwoofer upgrades?
I'm not a pro installer but my experience says yes. Just be sure to match the impedance of your upgraded speakers to the speakers installed by the factory.

Sorry but why you screw it down to the seat? That’s just a small amp you could have hidden it well in the truck on both left or right corner of the wheel box
How do you wire the add a circuit do you go right into the remote turn on
Hey Provo Beast Audio so I had an audio shop install some subs and an amp in my 16 sonata and whenever I floor it in my car or get going a certain speed the amp will turn off and so will the subs, I have to turn the car off then back on again for it to turn on and start working again. Any idea as to why it does this? I do have a LCI 2 pro that’s hooked up to the amp as well. The headunit is the stock one as well and the car does not have the factory upgraded sound system either.
I did this same hookup in my 2020 Elantra and the amp stays on, it wont shut off, and it has high level imputs, when I plug in the speaker wire to the amp, it turns on and stays on

What Amp wattage and brand is best to install on a 2016 Hyundai sonata and does it matter what size of the subs to install cause I perf 12' to 15' and can the factory radio be switched out to a newer radio like a flip screen.
Yes it can I did it to mine got a nine inch screen in mine
6 3/4 in speakers. You have to listen to a lot of speakers so you can determine what’s right for you.
I have a question. On my 2017 sonata sport. I have a RP-1200.1D | 1,200 Watt Monoblock with Skar Audio Dual 12" 2400W Loaded SDR Series Vented Subwoofer Enclosure | SDR-2X12D4. For soemtime now ive noticed a surge, i think thats what its called, everytime i switch it on. The ABS light flashes, meaning there is low voltage, according to google. 😅 anyway do you think it has to do with my set up? My battery also died after 2 years and im currently using a refurbished battery while i put my claim in to use my warranty and get a new one. Im worried that something wasnt connectes right. I feel that is something going on in the engine. Thanks for your time. -Wendy

I ran the remote turn off to the fuse but it doesn’t turn the amp back off
Sounds like you tapped into a constant 12v, instead of an accessory 12v circuit. Check your placement using a multimeter.

Body style is different, but the technique is the same, yes.
