DRY FISH BANGA SOUP (ITSEKIRI STYLE BANGA SOUP)

- This soup is a special delicacy and a must in the homes of the indigenous tribes occupying the Niger Delta region of Nigeria in West Africa.
It is usually taken with cooked Cassava starch.
INGREDIENTS
1. Fresh Palm fruits
2. Dry pepper
3. Periwinkles (optional) but highly recommended
4. Crab(optional) but highly recommended.
5. Crayfish
6. Native spice stick
7. Banga spices(ground seeds of Atarico & Ighereje). Found in sachet form everywhere, even in London and America.
8. Beletientien ( dried crushed leaves of Sclerodendron sp.)
9. Fresh Okra
10. Dry fish (use one type or a combination)
11. Fresh meat
12. Cow skin
13. Seasoning cubes and salt to taste

Nice. However, Banga dry fish is best without those spices. Just increase your onions and Crayfish. ❤
