As an OoTD gigachad main I’m excited to see if this makes achen chapel not suck ass!
So the interesting thing is that regular HRE Aachen saves you the investment on prelates, which would drop the bonus to closer to 22.5 due to losing every ninth worker and of course costing some more gold as well, but you still do need that one prelate.
OotD aachen boosts workers from 28 to 40%, so it's lesser than regular aachen in that respect, but you never need a prelate at all, and of course your aachen farming is generally better due to the higher base value and the finite aachen range. That is to say, the farmers themselves are better (the aachen effect is not) and so each farm added (at the same cost as usual) is worth more per unit of real estate, and per wood cost of the farm.
With 15% it'll be 47% without a prelate, which is of course a 19% boost in effect (as it is multiplicative with the higher base value), which is better than HRE aachen works out to.
One key difference is that you could fit more workers into aachen range early, as they weren't limited to farms, but rather wood or gold nodes or whatever. So the difference between the two was bigger earlier on. Later on you weren't able to boost as many workers, and therefore weren't saving as many prelates, and of course OotD never needs prelates for that purpose.

If we have another OO please either have all players in mandatory voicechat (that would make for some hilarious content and would eliminate the chat hack we do with a player's stream) or PLEASE just don't invite the twins. There was blatant collaboration/cheating from them last time

i remember 1 or 2 patches ago they reduced the build time of hunting cabins from 35 to 25 and now they see it as op and reverted it.
It was a very strange change at the time, because Rus players were starting to rush out the hunting cabin, and they reduced the time, thus lowering the opportunity cost, and making it much harder and more expensive for other civs to contest the bounty.
Basically, Rus had been a bit weak since the bounty change and they had a change queued up, but by the time it hit it seemed like a very strange choice because of the flow of the meta.
There's a lot of latency built into development, which is one reason you sometimes get these patches where a strong civ is seemingly buffed, or a weak civ nerfed, they don't try to be responsive to how things are at the time the patch hits, perhaps due to testing, perhaps due to when the build is finalised.
Either way, it was an odd change back then.

JD, Japanese, Zhu Xi legacy all gets dented by nerfs but the Ottomans only get a slap on the wrist. Janissaries Bombards combo is still way too powerful.

Regarding Abbasid:
FF is ok, rest is basically nothing. For an F-Tier rated civ by almost every pro player this buffs are droplets on a hot stone. Byz and OOTD got better buffs and arent even that bad in the first place.
I'm still thankful, that they got a buff, i just expected a little bit more.
(i start to believe in the conspiracy, that they should be the worst civ. A civ HAS to be the worst, why not the one the least people play? and people are already used to Abbasid being weak, why shake it up?)
I was hoping additionaly to FF buff for a TC buff for abbasids (new civ bonus), because they are so reliant on those. This would make them the raw multiple tc civ and it would fit their fantasy. something like +1 range and 30% more health and 10 garrison again?
or composite bows in feudal and bootcamp in castle (maybe this would be too strong?)
or +1 range more range for camel archers? (or a bit cheaper? or something which makes them stronger in feudal but lets them stay the same in imperial? could be achieved with buffing CA but nerfing their upgrades after age up)

I am an old guy just learning and enjoy playing against AI ; after winning all the easy AI I hit a brick wall against Intermediate ; that has been addressed ; I had to pause the video to read this as you skipped the AI changes
I have only defeated the French with the Chinese at Intermediate level and it was a weird game
Look up an build order and you will 10 times as good as you are now good luck 🍀

This is the biggest L the game ever did. MkB was already a big problem on consoles. It is just gonna be worst. Console players will loose their rank feel like they arent good enough to face PC players and then just quit the game

People already went chapel instead of meinwerk. I guess they increased the price of normal unique upgrades for OOTD and increased the cost and research reduction to entice players into using meinwerk more. But achen stil way better 😢

It feels like the Kremlin gives me a timeout card for the enemy. It's like an answer for everything. Definitely think it should be heavily adjusted. Almost feels like cheating at times :D

Well forced crossplay is the worst shit that couldve happened for Xbox playerbase. I'm considering quitting the game now and I already have 2 friends that quit due to MKB's xbox player...

I already had enough opponents this to me is a huge L to the console player base. In fact this is so bad it will probably kill the game on console so that PC can feel better about themselved yikes

I love your content and i know this is not your intention. But you need to be more clear with your content in regards to game balance. You sometimes inadvertintly make it quite toxic for players who want to play Civs that you deem to be OP!...
I've been playing with otto since they got released and everyone was saying they are B tier. Now any game I win with Otto, even in feudal or castle, no bombards, most of the time I get really negative toxic comment about how OP!! they are.
It would be great if you could be more clear that at low level (diamond), it is perfectly accepable and legit to play with Otto, since you and other casters use to put Otto in B tier, then all of the sudden it's broken to play with them at all because they get free units. That is their main bonus... And Jans were there since day one and there are videos where you said they weren't that great, but now they are OP?
I've lost games with Otto and they complained that they're OP 0.o
Why only condense win conditions instead of also offer the option to hide it completely? These developers are so lazy.

I just hope they rebalance the civs so that more than 3 of the base game civs are at or above 50%. Kinda horse shit that as of now, every civ with at minimum 50% winrate you have to pay extra for outside of 3, ottomans, mongols, and Dehli. Of the 16 civs, only 8 are at or above 50%, and of those 8 only 3 are free with the base game. What a fucking joke. Balance this shit so it doesnt feel so bad to want to play anything other than ottoman, mongol or dehli. its on the edge of being pay to win, frankly. Those three civs are the only thing holding off that accusation. Its not even like they are close to achieving 50%. If youre not playing dlc or those 3 your just gimping yourself in ranked and thats bullshit.

The worst civ has a 47% wr. Most are 48 or 49%. Meaning on average out of 100 games you would win 48 or 49 of them. "Pay to win" "unplayable" you're a clown lmao this game in incredibly well balanced
