Man, they REALLY need to up the mission rewards for bounty hunting. AI ships hit so much harder now.

their AI is also way better now. They are super agressive and super accurate. I cant even do bounties in light/medium fighters anymore. I have to bring an F8C or vanguard.
i love my harbinger. torpedos, great amount of pilot controlled guns, a turret for if a friend wants to join. only sad part is they finally "fixed" the bathroom exit. sad times and good times all around
the precision targeting doesnt work for the MVSAs because they are fixed. It only works for gimballed guns
The Vanguard is basically my dream ship but only in theory. In reality I really hate the looks of this thing, but love the whole concept of a compact heavy fighter with internal living spaces made to endure longer missions in deep space and with a crew requirement of 1 to 3 maximum players. It's a shame....hope other manufecturers make a similar concept ship with a totally different design identity.
Cig is preping the mirai rival for vanguard. Looking like a chonky fury, interior and all… really hyped by this for solely the look.
I love vanguard design. Like a huge tomcat from the future, but so far without armor it struggling a bit… sadly. :(
@@thomasbouvier3203 Oh yeah, I forgot about that ship. They dropped the concept and never talked about it ever again. I love the Tomcat, but the Vanguard just dosn't hit the same spot for me.

Btw the arrow really nailed that spot and i’ve been wanting to get a bigger arrow for a long time. Maybe it will come :p but vanguard will do ^^

I would outfit with the AD5B fpr ERT, otherwise stick with the size 4 as well for bullet spread. great vidi bud!
I need to experiment with it more. However precision targeting has potential, but it only shines once shields are down.
I love the Vanguards. Unfortunately, being rammed or maneuverability in combination with it getting major torque imbalances way too quickly make it a no go for me atm.
The Ares Ion performs a lot better IMO. Hopefully they balance that out. I love the Vanguards. I hope to make it my permanent heavy fighter once it gets some love.
From what I've tried so far, the vanguard is the best performing heavy fighter aside from the scorpius. The F8 is buttcheeks now, but I haven't tried the Ares yet
I ran a couple ships recently... One size 9 torpedo knocked a hammerhead in my retaliator. The Ion sucks now, slow fire rate, it took forever just to drop an ERT A2 and my ship was red afterward. The Inferno can pull off about two ERTs with 1/2 ammo, you will need to repair before re-arm. The Inferno doesn't take long to do the job but you will get hit and hurt eventually. Oh and yeah I agree the F9C sucks now, it can only pull off MRTs safely. Honestly the Corsair with all deadbolts is the best at ERTs now.
when i do MRTs i end up VS 4-5 ships :/, i also run a m7a on my harbringer for big pew pews no idea if its any good though, great vid :)
According to erkul, and from what u have tried, big laser canons kick now… rather have canons that repeater on that nose gun s5. That said repeater/canons for mandatory s2 have same stats. So its about preference. (Lasers canon and repeater have same dps, same speed, different rof)
How much are the mission payouts now? (can't get into the game at all since the patch, so can't check)

The avant-garde deserves so much more. It should be the most durable of the heavy fighters. That's how it was sold. In addition, its armament is not that impressive for a heavy fighter.
If that's the case, I'd argue the F8 doesn't have an impressive armament either
