I heard you all loud and clear, so I am updating my analysis and will be looking over some of the main rumors that are circulating around the internet in the last 48 hours. Is it age? Is it implants, or is it fillers? Let’s find out!

Men are often not immediately thought of when it comes to plastic surgery. Many people mistakenly think only women get plastic surgeries and cosmetic procedures. The fact is that in the how business, everyone is expected to look young forever, and it can be scary to age. Even though Zac Efron is only 33, he is pressured to always look young and look good. This has led him to get some possible procedures, of which I will uncover today.
Zac starts out with a great face; his face is basically perfect mathematically; with proportional facial features, strong bone structure and gorgeous horizontally long eyes. He does or did have that boyish baby face look and that quality is something that I believe became a double edged sword for Efron.
In the video, I will cover what changes were made to his looks starting from his appearance in 2013, and his jaw injury. We will then move on to analyse Zac Efron’s Chin, then hairline, to see if he has hair loss, then we will look at his eyes, then nose, and cheeks.
After looking in the past, we will delve into the Zac Efron face that we see today in 2021. This is what all the commotion was about. His Jaw and his lips are the center of attention. Hi guys; I’m getting a lot of comments on the Zac Efron video saying that Zac’s face is a result of getting his wisdom teeth out . I’ve been replying individually to those but wanted to comment here once and for all.
This rumor started with Dr. Anthony Youn making this speculation.
I like Dr. Youn; I think he’s done a lot to make plastic surgery more mainstream and bring it out of the shadows. He also seems like a nice guy .
I am a dental hygienist as you all know (which by the way isn’t a dental assistant they are different; requires a college degree not that I’m better but just so you understand I have a background in anatomy comparable to a nurse )
My husband is a dentist who does both cosmetic and dental SURGERY he puts in dental implants, veneers, crowns and takes out WISDOM teeth.
While a bilateral wisdom tooth extraction can leave you with jaw swelling ; you wouldn’t be able to talk and articulate your mouth as well as Efron is able to do in that video. Further you would not look like you developed a large super hero chiseled chin afterwards .
Also don’t you think if this was temporary SWELLING then Zac would’ve said “excuse my appearance; I got my wisdom teeth out”?
When anyone makes speculations including ME always question their validity and use your critical thinking . I suspect Dr. Youn didn’t want to actually comment on Zac so he gave a quick at first glance response for reasons we may never know.
Personally I feel no response would’ve been better as now the whole culture of plastic surgery denial is again in full swing ; it’s destructive.
If it is WISDOM teeth expect to see his jaw area “normal “ again in 1 week but that chin? It’s not going anywhere (unless removed ) .

I agree! I had my 4 wisdom teeth removed by surgery. Swelling made me look like a chipmunk! I was also bruised and talking was hard. I think the swelling and bruises lasted about a week. It wasn’t specific to my jaw line, it was the whole face basically.
I also think he gained weight in my humble opinion

Yes, he's now a cross between Rob Lowe and Donny Osmond. Zac was one of the most handsome men and should have left well enough alone. I mean, he is still handsome but he has artificially aged decades and if he doesn't stop with the surgery addiction, he will look like an alien soon.

I gasped when you said Zac is 33 😳 He looks like he’s in his mid 40’s. For the best examples of men aging gracefully look at Brad Pitt or Denzel Washington from 25-50. They may have had tiny tweaks during those ages but you can’t see it.
Even when compared with actors that are not that "graceful" in aging(Adam Driver for example, 5 years older, with stronger features and sporting some deep-ish wrinkles) Zac looks just like a 50something dude who's had plastic surgery to look younger in the middle of his midlife crisis.

It's not about that. A lot of the factors that go into choosing an actor for a role is their looks, not just general, but very specific looks. Zack changed himself to look like the characters he wanted to play.

Seeing as he’s spoken about having body dysmorphia, I feel so bad for him. He was fine the way he was and it’s a shame he can’t/couldn’t see that. It’s also another child star wanting to shed that image and look different than they did in their younger years.
@Sadia Sharmeen I’m almost 37 and I’m constantly told I look ten years younger. I have Ehlers Danlos, as does my mother, so that’s why we look so young. My mom is 67 and looks like she’s 60. It used to drive me crazy in my early 20’s and early 30’s when people thought I was 5-10 years younger but now it’s a blessing! 😅 I appreciate it more and more as I grow older.

Some other Plastic Surgeon said he got his wisdom teeth removed and that’s why his jaw is swollen. So, if that’s the case, it’s only temporary
Also, people just don't understand how much body dysmorphia affects people mentally. Sure you can tell a person that they look perfect and why change that? But it wouldn't matter because what they see and what they feel doesn't match what a person's saying.
Years ago I saw him on a British chat show. Seth Rogan, who was also a guest on the same show, was a DICK to him. Ephron didn’t stand up for himself, at all. Made me think that he may be a more easily bullied, kind hearted person. He may have been trying to look more intimidating.

Perhaps. It just seems like his lips got swollen too. I got my wisdom teeth removed, everyone swells differently, but my face didn’t look drastically different. More in the cheeks, personally.
Regardless, I hope he doesn’t feel saddened by how, assuming he did actually get surgery, he looks.

Even the most naturally handsome men get ground up in that industry, which is really sad.
I don’t doubt that he has had jaw implants and lip injections to be sure - but rapid growth of the jaw coupled with the water retention in his face is classic HGH. The rapid aging is without a doubt a classic case of steroids, namely a combination of Masteron, high doses of Test, anavar, and Tren - which would also explain the need for a hair transplant as you mentioned. Some of these steroids can be highly androgenic and contribute to overt masculinization of one’s features. The hormonal fluctuations also contribute to the the leather-like quality of the skin.

I think you’re right. His muscles are now looking PED- large and ripped too. I believe there is steroid use in Hollywood by some of the men to get those implausible physiques- speculating Stallone, Stiller, Mel Gibson, Joe Piscapo, and a few others.
Acromegaly / excessive jaw growth only happens with excessive amounts of hgh abuses over long periods of time.
I’ve seen outrageous bone on bone growth with HGH in patients. Usually long term users, but that was my first thought too, when seeing his facial transition.

I agree he also may have depression seeing he had a drinking problem that sometimes is used to self medicate. So body dysmorphia is part or another layer of depression. I know because I can understand but I have not been graced with symmetrical facial features BUT I do focus on my nose and body. I just cannot imagine being so beautiful and not still not feeling that validation even though women all over the world think you look perfect!

Finally an honest video using real experience and facts. I miss Zac from his early 20's. He was so damn sexy, even though he was young. Now, looking at him in his Visit Dubai videos, you can tell, he's forever changed. I still think he's handsome, but it's like a different person and it saddens me. I think it was more about gaining hair thickness than the hairline. I think his hair was probably thinning more than he liked and he got the hair transplant to fix this issue. The hairline changes were a side effect of this rather than he had hair transplant to change that specifically. Just guessing though 🤗

He always looks different every couple of years, there’s no denying he’s had tons of procedures, I think it goes under the radar more for men because many of us don’t realize men do get plastic surgeries too. And most people think it’s just women that get their face worked on.

It's a shame our 'cultural moment' right now pressures women to be 'ultra feminine' & men to be 'hyper-masculine'. Tom Hardy is another guy who was ethereally beautiful as a young man but lost it very quickly through steroid use. He's still gorgeous, obvs, but I miss the more natural aesthetic of just gorgeous slim athletic men (example Ryan Gosling). I'm not a fan of the thick mountain of muscle & ultra-rugged face.

@@jorfrasus8681 I never broke my jaw, but it did get stuck open a couple of times(it's congenital unfortunately) and the pain was immediate and incredible. He would've felt his jaw being broken 100%, he could've came up with a better lie lol

This proves that anyone can find imperfections within themselves , even the most beautiful. He was perfect before surgery--And yes,he’s still a gorgeous man, but honestly, he did NOT need alterations. So sad the even the most gorgeous of us thinks that they need improvements.

There was a fascinating Twilight Zone Episode where everyone HAD to have plastic surgery to be beautiful. They could choose between twelve different face types..........Of course this led to a total loss of individuality, and everyone looking more/less alike, so that in the end they always had to wear name tags to indicate who they were !!
It's not beauty standards, it's a career choice. If you want to play in teenage chick flicks, look like Zack. If you want to play a superhero or in an action film, lose the baby face and nerdy body shape.

But I don’t think his face is the main problem, he could have benefit from that easily like some did... But I believe his PR team sucks. They don’t manage his career correctly and he fails castings but not solely because of his face, there are so many other thing to take in account in acting and artistic professions in general... Looks are just the top of the iceberg (and often used as an excuse), there is so much more going on underneath.

Well if you're unhappy or depressed, plastic surgery or a shopping spree is not the answer. Seek out therapy whether a psychologist, pastor, psychiatrist, social psychologist, etc., there are so many available therapists that can help you. Consult your GP or for a referral but definitely go! The answers aren't outside yourself but within. Soo worth it and I would imagine even more so in his chosen line of work.

Zac Efron is a criminally underrated actor. From Baywatch to his role as Bundy, his performances have been excellently delivered. I really don't understand why he never gets more "deep" roles like, he was both charming and terrifying as Bundy which is not an easy feat!
I feel like Hollywood doesn't take him seriously and that's why he's altering his appearance so much lately.

I think he was bothered by the fact that his jaw was uneven naturally. I think he just let that get to him and chose to get to him. I think even if his chin and jaw implants were even slightly smaller, he would look much better then he does now.
I kinda hoped it was filler so he could eventually get it dissolved, he used to look so good and now he looks overfilled with a pillowy face that makes him look 10 years older than he is, it’s sad that he decided to go under the knife
