Here's how I would do it:
As long as you revive the party member before the battle ends with Reviving moves or the sprinkle, they survive.

Well, you've made it this far without (permanently) losing a party member, meaning you're officially doing better than me.
ALSO for the required Fiend encounter coming up, PUT CYNTHIA IN THE SAFE SPOT! If the Fiend kills her, she'll probably stay dead forever. Pretzel dying would also be detrimental due to the MC clause, but if Monika can revive him then you should (hopefully) get through the encounter deathless.

Since reviving moves are now allowed, I would turn one of your miis into a flower since they get a reviving move at like level 5 and are a healer too, could help you with close calls, and having to grind from level 1 is worth it, you have the safe spot for something haha
