    invest in some good gloves ...your hands are the first thing that hits the ground, I have hit the ground 3 times on a bike, good gloves that slide is the best,,, love the bike :)

      @Mark Andrews for me I need it to be comfy would try out some gear and pick what I like the best :), if you pick the full-faced helmet get one with good ventilation and when it comes to bikes I think you have a dream bike go for it :)

    This looks fun to zip around town in but I just love my vtx 1800 to much for freeway 😏. I can be cruising at 90 and full throttle it and damn that beast just keeps going

      I agree 100% that’s why I sold this bike, just not enough power to be safely on a highway or a faster road.

    No gloves. Big-ass mistake. Nice rolling stop through a stop sign as well
    Great bike though

      @anthony_0501  Před 3 lety +3

    • @anthony_0501
      @anthony_0501  Před 3 lety +3

    What kind of camera and mount are you using ?

    • @anthony_0501
      @anthony_0501  Před rokem

      At this point in time, I was use a bunch of small GoPro mount that angled the camera froward, wasn’t pretty. Now I am using an Amazon center mount.

    So what I don't get is... I have a vstar 650 & a 250.. why is it my 650 tops out round 65ish, but I can get my 250 up to 75ish... I never understood that. I've even got open pipes etc, guess gonna have to mod to go faster on the 650, but then I'm like or should I size up. Sux cause I like the 650s weight..

    • @anthony_0501
      @anthony_0501  Před 2 lety +1

      I have the same problem with my current 650, I believe it just needs more air flow and a jet kit. The 650 in this video has been sold. The previous owner before me took it at a performance shop an got a lot of mods done, so it topped out at 98 mph.

    • @retrorewindllc9363
      @retrorewindllc9363 Před 2 lety +1

      @@anthony_0501 yea everyone I talk to is like oh yea that bike should be able to go to 90, I've heard if open the air flow will help some, but still you'd think a 650 would at least go 80 no prob lol

    • @anthony_0501
      @anthony_0501  Před 2 lety +1

      @@retrorewindllc9363 agreed, that’s one of the main reasons I went over to sport bikes.

      At th8s speed it is death or worse if you go down! Be careful!!!!! Relax and enjoy!
      Nothing to prove out there on tge pavement!

    • @darrylpugh6656
      @darrylpugh6656 Před 2 lety +1

      I really don’t understand. My 650 VStar has topped out past 85 and it’s all stock. I can run all day at 70 75 mph with no problem at all. Even at 65 mph when I hit a throttle it feels like there’s plenty to go yet. It looks like this guy‘s doing more than 65 too.

  • @darrylpugh6656
    @darrylpugh6656 Před 2 lety +1

    How fast are you averaging on this ride?

    • @anthony_0501
      @anthony_0501  Před 2 lety +3

      About 70-90 mph, top speed I’ve had on this bike is about 98 mph, but that’s because I had a jet kit, intake, and exhaust on the bike.

    • @ATL64574
      @ATL64574 Před 2 lety +2

      I got 103mph one time on a cool night going downhill on the interstate with exhaust and jet kit, but the average top speed is about 98 mph

    • @anthony_0501
      @anthony_0501  Před 2 lety
