Lawlar is going to be a stud! Big time buy IMO. I know you didn't mention him because he was not in the AFL but everyone just tossed aside Cristian Hernandez. He actually didn't have a bad yr, just didn't live up to those crazy expectations. Cubs think he is right where he should be for his age...18!! His stuff is super cheap right now given his talent and ceiling. 2023 will be a big yr for his cards IMO. Nick Yorke could be interesting with Boston's infield a man short now with Xander gone.

Yes. I’ve long been a Lawlar guy - just not at previous price levels and thankfully his prices are approaching “reasonable” while he continues to dominate. Obviously agree he will be studly 🚀
Hernandez is not someone I’m into. He’s comes with a lot of hype, and while his prices are softening, they don’t come close to justifying what little he accomplished in Rookie Ball. I have lost soooo much money on International signees, over the years. Some of whom killed rookie ball and then just couldn’t get it done in A ball. The percentages on these guys making it are just too low, for me.
I’d rather pump all my dollars into the fellas like Yorke - who has a high ceiling, I agree and is far from “old- Veen and Lawlar. They’re doing better at much higher levels.

@@cclsportscards I agree, I wait for 1-2 yrs on the international guys now...they have to show me something, like Chourio but his prices are crazy right now.
Good stuff as always. Rather have Ezequiel Tovar and Adael Amador all day over Veen given price and skill, but I know you’re focusing on AFL. Tovar is going to have a legit chance to be the starting SS for Colorado. Had excellent numbers throughout all the minor league levels. Amador has some ridiculous advanced hitting skills at a young age. Walk to rate is outstanding.
Romo:). Thank you man. I can’t believe how much Tovar’s prices - especially as it relates to base autos - have fallen. Basically written off, based on a small sample size MLB wise, from what I recall. I’m very much into Tovar.
Don’t know enough about Amador to comment intelligently, but I know a few who are digging on him.

I REALLY like Alvarez and even moreso as his prices have softened over the last while. Another great question is whether he has bowman 1sts and I’ve touched on this with guys like Harris, Grissom, coincidentally located in the same set; 2020 Bowman Chrome. Much like the aforementioned athletes, Alvarez only has 1st Bowman Autos, no base cards, no paper cards. GREAT question!
