You hear your own voice differently to others
To my knowledge you hear your own voice at a deeper pitch because the vibrations also go through bone which is why if you record someone's voice and let them hear it they'll go that's not my voice and probably ask is that what you hear when you say it is or something along those lines

I absolutely adore Kris, she's naturally beautiful, funny af, kind, empathetic and intelligent, plus she has a very pretty singing voice. I always fully enjoy her videos and often wondered how she got into my brain to know what I'm thinking. Perfect example, I literally paused the video at 6:19, because I remembered that I had eaten scrambled egg whites and whole wheat toast for breakfast, so I owed myself a bowl of rice and raisin pudding. 😂

okay, excellent point. Horror movies: Sometimes the sound is just as scary or even more terrifying than whatever is on the screen. My best friend once tricked me to go see a movie and I spend the whole movie covering my ears (didn't help much but it was somewhat muffled) with my eyes shut or carving crescent-shaped moons on her arm with my nails. Did I realize I was doing this? No. But it was a punishment she deserved.
I admire you Kris for putting a brave front but whenever I watch something horror-related, someone gets hurt, and it's never me. My automatic response is to fight when I see something scary. It is NEVER flight.
