Curious collectors bring great stuff to the appraisal fairs I conduct, and the appraisal table at the New Harmony Antique Show is hopping! Join in on the fun as we evaluate ‘roadshow style’ the collectibles, antique and vintage brought by a number of viewers and other collectors.
We see a variety at appraisal fairs, and this one is no exception! From a golden dagger to a sweet teddy bear, you just never know what you’ll see next. An art deco bracelet, a good coin collection and a set of 18th century French surgery prints are a few of the things that cross the desk.
Pricing and explanations of different appraisal values make this video a useful tool for resellers, while the joy and enthusiasm of the attendees rings true with all of us who love antique and vintage items. Appraisal fairs are fun!

Well I appreciate that! I watched a very good appraiser lose a job doing these fairs because he was impatient with people who brought things that were low value. My attitude is that you treat everyone the same because they all thought enough of what they had to bring it to you!

Perhaps a lanyard with a black light & a loup, a big bag with plastic pockets to slide channel merch stickers in to, fun license plates for our carts, big old fashioned fancy hats with vintage like flowers w/the words VIntage Treasure Hunter or Vintage Obsessed or Beware~Elbows Sharpened or Vintage Broad Will Brake Abruptly...Baby Boomer Vintage Seek n Find or George Is My Uncle.... cross stitched on the brim, hand fans with faux bakelight spoked with pink & green barkcloth LOL. Hip flasks for sweet tea [or whatever...] ....
