They had these on sale for a daily deal over at B&H $110 for the 50 and $160 for the 99 I picked up a few and love them. Only thing I wish is that they had 2 d-tap ports 😢 other than that they are awesome
2 D-Tap would be nice, I power my camera with USB C so it's been great for me, but I can see the benefit!

Is it possible to simultaneously connect a camera and a monitor to an 8 and 12 volt jack port?
I believe so if I'm understanding the question correctly. If not, the battery will give a warning and turn off.

Yeah I would say roughly 2-5 hours. I've found my monitor drains it pretty fast. So as of now, I depend on the NP5 batteries for the monitor and use my 99wh Vmount to keep my camera going all day.

In the last part of the video where you show your rig, what's the plate on the base with the legs? (visible at 3:24) I have the smallrig multifunctional qr arca plate, so I was wondering if it's that or something else. I really like it in concept but part of what I find frustrating is that the legs don't lock in place, so if I move my camera and they get pushed, the legs just fold in. Just curious what you thought.

Yes! I actually did this today with these smallrig male threaded screws I'll drop the link for ya.
Not sure if it's the best product as you can't determine what direction the battery will end up facing, but it worked great for me on sticks.

Not dumb, yes you can, that's what I use it on just need to go with a usb c cable option or dummy battery, (I think the usb C option is the recommended)

I have multiple different brands of v mount, and the small rig for me are by far the worst out of all my 95-99wh vmounts.
On my sony fx6 with atomos ninja v + transmitter, they die the fastest out of the rest by almost an hour faster with the same wh rating.
might not change anyones mind but good to be aware of
not to mention with smallrig being more expensive than majority of vmounts at the same wh

@@WillieShawFilms My 95wh microseries lasts about an 1.25 hours longer but take about 30-45 mins longer to charge. so not massive charge speed for smallrig but it is faster.
however I think smallrig has higher safety ratings, and better ports/readability. so pros and cons for both

It makes sense tho. It’s a 50wh so it’s in the ball park of what other batteries do. Maybe slightly overpriced but not significantly more. Compared to other brands, this battery is regulated so you don’t have to worry about ruining your gear.
