What I like is that I can just use a metal v-mount plate as the distro it's done by the battery itself. Camera, monitor, and HDMI TX all powered by the same battery for those long shoots.
Definitely, it seams surreal but you can do all that nowadays even as a beginner filmmaker 😅💪🏻💯

How these 99w batteries compare with let's say a 25,000 mA USB power bank in terms of only power (not connectivity)
So from what i know the V-Mount can output different voltages depending on your gear up to - 16 V. The power bank does only 5 V max if I'm not mistaken. And this is the main difference. For example a power bank won't charge a Macbook Pro but a V-Mount will! I hope it makes sense 😅
Question can i use the USB A and USB C at the same time to power my monitor in 5v, 3A and my camera 5v, 3A
Yes! From what I know you can house all the ports at the same time and you’ll have on the screen the power output to each port. The D-Tap doesn’t show the output for some reason (but it’s common to all V-Mounts) probably it’s an old port that doesn’t allow any reading of electricity. Hope this helps!
Can you switch the battery off so the attached devices will go to sleep?
Great question. Sadly Not. It works like a regular power bank in that sense. But being an intelligent V-Mount battery it’ll stop giving juice to your device if the device you are charging has reached a 100%. I hope this answers your question ;)

can j charge a7iv sony with usb c?
Hey! I don’t have a Sony but most of the v mount batteries are specifically made to charge or power cameras and I’m sure a7iv it’s not an exemption. Most likely you are able to change it or keep it running for longer whilst shooting or live-streaming etc.
