Same scenario, storm-force winds hit at night. When the eye was passing over, a constant, low hum came from the sky directly overhead, like a deep voice, very strong. If you live anywhere in the path of this storm, get ready, prepare.

He also has been in a tornado once he said to me " Hurricanes are worse you see a tornado will hit places and skip here and there, a hurricane will flatten everything in a different kind of way" so people pay attention and listen to the warnings of these news weather news folks. So I live in Missouri I was on my porch the moment the Duck boat sank, the weather was fine and in an instant the wind was out of this world I live at the lake Table Rock and the wind was nothing compared to what these news people are telling you. Do you go into a underground shelter probably not, as this kinda stuff brings water with then you have flooding. Id say leave, even if you grab a tent camp with your family in another state, your life is more important than a home& and a job. Be safe .. Love to you all.
My house got 5 feet of water in Harvey. If you got belongings you can't pack out with you get it to a second story or in an attic. Get your car out on the streets if it's higher than the house, find high ground to go to if possible. Boats are life savers. Even if you get wet and miserable. Food and water people! Get enough for at least 1 week in case the flood waters sit around. Spam was king those four days we waited. A good claw hammer and a pry bar is basically all you'll need to gut your house. Have fun. My hopes are with you.
Most computer models are forecasting this hurricane will make landfall in North Carolina. I haven't seen one model that has Florence making landfall in Delaware! But...keep watch on this storm multiple times every day. This is NOT good! Sustained winds of 150!! This storm is NO joke! Good luck.
This looks like an extremely dangerous storm 150 plus mile an hour winds it would take a lot less for me to get the hell out of there Arizona we're lucky if we get a monsoon storm with a 60 mile-an-hour wind
